Meet Tucker Beck, the heroic bartender.
Heโs been tending bar at Hueyโs in Memphis, Tennessee for about a decade now.
These days, heโs also serving up compassion!
Thatโs right!
Tuckerโs known for making peopleโs days.
Itโs true! In fact, he just helped a homeless man seeking sanctuary in the bar.
To Tucker, itโs just a part of the job.
This isnโt Tuckerโs first grand gesture of kindness. Far from it!
So what happened, exactly?
Tucker shared his entire story with the local ABC 24 Memphis news team.
Tucker begins to explain:
โFriday, a gentleman walked in the bar and was asking for money.โ
Apparently, a lady at the bar proceeded to give him $2. He immediately turned to Tucker with a question:
โWhat can I buy to eat for $2?โ
Tucker obviously knew that $2 wouldnโt get you much at the bar, but he didnโt care.
โWhat do you want? A cheeseburger with fries? Or onion rings?โ
The man jumped at the opportunity for some hot onion rings. Tucker let him know that heโs good to go!
โDone deal!โ
Tucker then left to fill the order, returning with some water.
โHe got his food, and he was just grinning from ear to ear.โ
No matter where heโs at or what heโs doing, Tuckerโs spreading joy.
He truly cares about people.
Tucker believes that the man was dehydrated. The refreshments seemed to spark new life into the new customer.
โHe thanked me probably 15 times. He was so hungry and so nice.โ
People helping people โ you love to see it!
We need some more love in the world!
Tuckerโs kindness has clearly touched countless hearts!
A bargoer by the name of Dawn Wilt saw the whole thing. He took the time to give Tucker Beck a heartwarming shoutout on Facebook!
โWeโve looked for him. I havenโt found him. I was gonna maybe see if thereโs a way we could help him maybe more on a long-term, permanent basis.โ
Theyโd like to help him find a shelter or a comfortable place to stay.
Keep in mind that this isnโt some isolated, random occurrence for Tucker.
This is how he lives his life, every single day.
This is who he is!
Heโs notorious around the bar for his generosity and compassion.
Heโs a damn nice guy, and everyone knows it!

Everyone knows 2020 is the worst. We all hate it. Everythingโs upside down, and weโre all paying the price amid a global health crisis.
The next time you see someone struggling, give a little love.
We need compassion now more than ever!
