High school lets senior students dress up for their school IDs

North Farmington High School in Detroit, Michigan, wanted to have a little fun with their school IDs so students decided to get dressed up as some of their favorite pop culture icons for their photos. And the results were hilarious.

The photos of their IDs even ended up going viral. Now the fun student ID theme is a school tradition for the senior class. And the photos go viral each year.

Students dress up as all kinds of characters. Like KFC’s Colonel, Mose Schrute from The Office, or Hagrid from Harry Potter. And the students really do a great job with their costumes.

Here are 75 of their student ID photos:

1) Crazy Cotton Candy Girl

This girl picked an amazing photo and went all out for it. She’s the girl who was on the news for going “crazy for cotton candy.” She brought cotton candy to school and got it all over her face.

2) Russell From Up

This is so adorable. It’s Russell from Up. He’s a wilderness explorer from tribe 54.

3) Princess Leia Watson

Here we have Supreme Commander of the Resistance. A.K.A. Princess Leila. She’s known at North Farmington High School as Gwyneth Watson.

4) Velma Dinkley

Jinkies, she can’t see without her glasses. This is Alison Audet. She dressed up as Velma Dinkley from Scooby Doo.

5) Fiona as Fiona

This is Fiona dressed up as Fiona. Fiona Godfrey as Fiona the ogre from Shrek. That’s a pretty elaborate costume for a school picture. She even got the ears in.

6) Dwight K. Schrute

His middle name is Kurt. Not fart. Erik Elwell would also like to remind everyone that identity theft is not a joke.

7) Rock n Roll Girl

This rock n roll girl is Darla from Finding Nemo. Darla isn’t sure why her fishy is sleeping. Kelsey even wore head gear for the part.

8) Prince

Kayla went all out as Prince. Prince from Purple Rain. That jacket is amazing.

9) Princess Sydney

Sydney Gordon decided to take her student ID picture as Mia Thermopolis. It’s the moment in The Princess Diaries that Mia learns that she is a princess. Same face here!

10) Woody

I wonder if Jake is the only cowboy at North Farmington High School. Jake gets his inspiration from Woody from Toy Story. But Jake wears his badge on his hat.

Here we have a Pixar inspired school ID picture. Hannah is doing her best Syndrome impersonation. How is her hair even doing that?

Ava Farquhar wants to see justice in this world. That’s why she dressed up as Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She wants to see more women on the Supreme Court.

I thought Leslie Chow, a.k.a. Mr. Chow, would have graduated already. Just kidding this is Jarryn Shin. He looks just like Mr. Chow though.

20) Prince Akeem

Christopher is a prince of a student. He dressed up as Prince Akeem from Coming To America. He plans on attending the University of the United States after he graduates.

This girl is set to have a quality school year. So, she dressed up as Wendy from Wendy’s. That’s because quality is Wendy’s recipe.

These sisters also went with a Hogwarts theme. They are supposed to be twins Parvati and Padma Patil. Those girls that were pretty fond of Harry.

The two even made their own prosthetic noses for this costume. They are Merman and Barnacle Boy. They are characters from Sponge Bob Squarepants that drive an invisible boatmobile.

Dillon Sharp is going to make sure he stops around and looks a bit during this school year. He’s taking his wisdom from Ferris Bueller. He’s emulating the scene from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off where Ferris got up on the float to sing.

Patil is going to party like a rock star this school year. Like Katy Perry in her Last Friday Night video. T.G.I.F!

Hannah Savage isn’t looking to have a despicable year. That’s why she dressed up as Magro Gru. She one of Gru’s adopted daughters in Despicable Me.

Jorydyn Taylor recreated an iconic scene from an episode of Friends in her student ID photo. It’s the episode where Rachel runs away from being married. Look at the size of that cordless phone!
