Have you ever experienced dialing the wrong number before? Talking or texting a random person by accident is quite embarrassing, isn’t it? Well, sometimes, misdialing a number could also end up the other way – an EPIC way!
That’s exactly what happened to this group of high school boys after accidentally dialing the wrong number when they were trying to set up an iMessage group chat.
They misdialed one number that was owned by a random person.
These freshman basketball team members from Notre Dame Preparatory School were asked by their coach to create a group text which one of the members, Vinny Tartaglia, did so.
However, when the young lad was trying to add their teammate named Luca, he missed the number by a single digit and ended up adding an ‘unknown’ person.
When the random person got into the group message, he asked them by chatting, “Ya’ll meant to add me to this?” to which one of the boys, Mark Galle, responded by replying, “Yes.”
The person who they thought was Luca then texted back and said, “You know who I am?”
He introduced himself as Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback, it’s none other than Sean Murphy-Bunting.
At first, they all thought Luca was just messing with them. How could an NFL player be in their group text, let alone a Super Bowl champ?
To convince the boys, Murphy-Bunting decided to send a selfie showing the Bucs’ locker room. However, the freshmen basketball members were still skeptical and thought it might be a prank.
To finally end their second thoughts, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback then FaceTimed them from their locker toom!
During the call, they saw the rest of the team like cornerback Richard Sherman, wide receiver Mike Evans, tight end Rob Gronkowski, and running back Leonard Fournette.
With their jaws dropped and eyes popped, the school boys couldn’t help but ask about ‘someone.’
They wondered if he was there, NFL superstar, Tom Brady.

Needless to say, if you want to talk about NFL then you must not miss talking about Tom Brady.
Jason Whalen, whose son was on the team shared the epic encounter on Twitter, “Naturally the boys are getting greedy now, and besides asking the guys to have big weeks for their fantasy football team, they want to see the GOAT!”
Luckily, during that FaceTime call, the “GOAT” was just finishing a meeting up.
Leonard Fournette hung out with the boys for about 10 minutes and gave Brady the phone when his meeting ended.
“What’s up fellas?” Brady said to greet the ecstatic group of young high school boys.
They totally lost it when they finally saw Brady on their phones’ screens.
“They were shocked,” Fournette said while trying to recall the boys’ reactions upon seeing Brady. “I think that’s … to guys in high school, Tom is the figure for them. You know what I mean? Who wouldn’t want to look up to a guy like that?”

The unexpected FaceTime call with the Super Bowl champs ended after the famous quarterback and Michigan alumnus joined in.
As it turned out, Murphy-Bunting grew up in Macomb that’s why he has a Michigan phone number.
Looks like misdialing a number isn’t that bad at all, these high school boys were so lucky to have met the legends of the National Football League.
