Based on the CSBP Safety Data Sheet, ammonium nitrate is considered a hazardous substance. It can be used as a blasting agent, fertilizer, and explosive manufacture. It is also heat sensitive that’s why it has to be stored properly.

We all witnessed that it is highly explosive.

There are lots of infrastructures that were damaged in Beirut. According to Aljazeera, 6,200 buildings are estimated to be destroyed. If you will browse Twitter, you’ll see numerous photos and videos showing the aftermath.

Sadly, even the places that supposed to give treatments to the people who were harmed were also damaged. There are several hospitals that were ruined by the blast.

Imagine what these people have to go through amid the pandemic. It’s heartbreaking. For sure, many patients who are supposed to be resting well at that moment got affected too.

Including newborn babies…

The little ones who should be placed in the safest place after they were born were disturbed as well. It’s painful to imagine their cries during and after the explosion.

Thankfully, selfless people still exist.

Just like the nurse who has been making rounds online because of her act of kindness. A photo of her where she was carrying three newborn babies has gone viral on social media. Her picture was uploaded by Lebanese photojournalist Bilal Jawich.

The photographer also wrote a touching caption on it.

“16 years of press photography and lots of wars. I can say I didn’t see what I saw today in Ashrafia area, especially in front of the rum hospital and this ′′ heroine ′′ caught me inside the hospital and was accelerating to call despite the suspension of communication holding three newborn babies and surrounded by dozens of bodies and wounded.”

In the photo, you can tell that the nurse was in a crucial and busy moment. Instead of running away to save herself, she chose to hold the three precious little ones and carry them safely. It’s also admirable how she tried to make a call despite their situation.

Many people got touched by the lady’s kindness. Her photo has been shared by lots of people on various online sites. Some of them even aired their reactions upon seeing the heartwarming photo.

“My heart is with Beirut and a photograph that will never forget. A greeting of pride and respect to this nurse and the three angels,” one commenter wrote.

Another lady also left a comment that is full of praises for the hero nurse.

“OMG, you are such a brave woman. You went so much above and beyond everything to save those little ones while you were wounded. You are amazing, god bless you! You are a saint,” she wrote.

It’s uplifting to see the kindness of this nurse amid all the bad news that we’ve been hearing. It’s a reminder that there is still hope for all of us. It also shows us how kindness can make a huge difference. Hopefully, many of us will be willing to spread it anywhere.
