Have you ever heard the saying, โPerhaps they should stick to their day job?โ That applies when someone tries to do something outside of their skillset. For instance, a dentist whoโs great with patients but not so much with hip-hop dancing.
So, who is this guy?
His name is Dr. Rich Constantine and heโs a dentist who practices in Greenville, South Carolina. This all started when his coworkers encouraged him to get involved with the โShiggy Challenge.โ All he had to do was dance on video to the song โIn My Feelingsโ by Drake.
The video went viral
There are two reasons this particular video reached almost one million views. For one thing, Dr. Constantine is easy on the eyes. Okay, weโll just say it like it isโฆheโs hot. Also, his dancing is downright hilarious. By the way, this dentist is happily married to his wife Trish.
All for fun
If this dentist didnโt have such a good sense of humor, weโre not convinced he wouldโve performed. But you know, when everyoneโs pushing you to doโฆyou have to. And women across the country are so glad he didโฆagain, heโs hot.
Getting things started
At the start of the video, Dr. Constantine gives this sideways glance at the camera heโd set up in the hallway. You can almost hear him thinking, โAm I really going to do this? What in the world did they talk me into?โ
Ahโฆso cute
With Drakeโs song playing in the background, this dentist begins to sway his body and move his hips. Then out of nowhere, he makes the most adorable heart-shape using his hands. We donโt know about you but we donโt think that goes with hip-hop music.
For his next moveโฆ
As he sways backward, he begins to do crazy movements with his arms. Weโre not even sure thatโs a dance move. But heโs super cute so he gets a pass.
What in the heck was that?
Not too far into the video, Dr. Constantine does another arm thing that we canโt quite figure out. Itโs as though heโs swatting away a fly in super slow motion. He mustโve thought it was cool because after doing it with his right arm, he does with his left.
Marching orders
Later in the video, this dentist begins marching while taking tiny steps forward. At this point, it becomes obvious that hip-hop dancing isnโt his thing. But he gets credit for trying. And honestly, no oneโs complaining, especially the ladies.
Heโs having a blast
If nothing else, at least Dr. Constantine is having fun. And heโs a really good sport. Typically, the Shiggy Challenge involves people getting out of their vehicles to dance to this Drake song in the middle of the street. But to keep things safe, the staff at the dental clinic modified it.
The comments flooded in
So how, people know that Dr. Constantine isnโt the best dancer. But the whole thing is so funny it doesnโt matter. Everyone loved it anyway and appreciated the distraction his looks provided. One poster said, โThat moment when you break a tooth on purpose to see a dentist this fine.โ
