Police men will never back down on a challenge – especially when it’s the “Git Up Challenge.”
The HPD or Houston Police Department is always updated with the news and that also means being updated with the latest trends. Since last year viral “challenges” have been the talk of the town and one of the most popular is the “Git Up challenge.”
In fact, we may have already seen so many of these challenges that we are honestly all suffering from the “last song syndrome” but can you really back down on a challenge as fun as this one?
It all started last summer of 2019, Blanco Brown’s “The Git Up” music video became an instant hit and has even inspired people all over the world to participate in the viral challenge.
The “Git up challenge” isn’t even hard; in fact, anyone who has already seen the dance steps would know how catchy and easy it is.
In fact, the video from Blanco Brown that started this craze already has 51M views and is still trending! Their music is definitely a refresher to the usual songs that we hear and it’s so appealing!
All you have to do is to follow the choreography from the music video and upload your own version. You can also tag someone who you want to challenge and that’s it!
The handsome police men of the Houston Police Department or HPD weren’t exempted with this challenge. Being the tough officers that they are, Officer John Williams and Officer J. Lahar accepted the challenge!
The video starts with the “We ♥ Houston” landmark and then shifts to two handsome policemen who were each holding a bottle of water.
What better way to do this challenge than to proudly wear your uniform? Oh, did we mention that they were also wearing cool sunglasses? It completes the look and adds to the overall “Git Up” appearance.
Who would have thought that these two have smooth moves to share? Look at how flawless they dance to the catchy song!
We love how they would also sing to the song and smile to their audience. You would even think that these two can be celebrities.
Based on the uploaded video, they are policemen John Williams (aka j_will5734) and J. Lahar (aka mr_officer713).
Both have their own Instagram accounts with the same usernames and each of these guys already have more than a thousand followers. The people of Houston definitely loves these two.
They aren’t just good in dancing and for being handsome; they are also very dedicated with their work and service to their people.
With all the tiring and serious work that these guys are doing each day, being able to relieve stress by accepting fun challenges like this is definitely something to look forward to.
Today, their video already has more than 500k views and a lot of comments as well.
Their performance would definitely be one of our top favorites for the Git Up challenge – who’s yours?
