Imagine getting a puppy and an engagement ring… at the same time! I know, it’s like every woman’s dream come true.
But it’s a lot to handle at once and we would probably freak the heck out.
And that’s what one woman did when her beau popped the big question while they were in the process of adopting a pooch.
Eli Greenberg was too busy gushing over the adorable tiny white puppy that was dashing around her to notice what was going on. What was going on was that her boyfriend, Josh Teller, was planning to ask for her hand in marriage.
“She’s very excited,” someone can be heard commenting about the exuberant dog.
“Ohhh, we’re so excited,” Greenburg cooed while dreamily staring at her future dog/child.
Excited is right, but little did she know just how excited she and her man would soon be within the next few minutes.
“Yeah, she’s a good girl,” the voice commented as the dog ran around in the fenced in pen where Greenburg and Teller were kneeling down.
Greenburgh was completely smitten by the dog.
“Wait, wait,” she said to Teller. “I need her.”
She learns that her future puppy is a girl and is handed the little puppy who squirms around in her arms. Teller tells her to look at her collar, and then he pulls out a ring box.
She gasps and holds her hands over her mouth. She’s in complete and total shock and she stands up and starts to cry.
“Oh my god,” she says over and over shaking and hold her mouth.
“She’s gonna have a heart attack,” the voice in the background says as everyone laughs.
This girl is utterly stunned and the look on her face is absolutely hilarious. Teller finally manages to put the ring on her finger as she continues to call out for God. He then holds her tight. She still continues to call out for God making the same hilarious face.
The video of this pawfect (get it!) proposal has gotten more than 1.4 million views on YouTube. Many of the commentators gushed over how precious the gesture was.
“Omg that’s how I want to get proposed to,” said one woman.
“OMG THIS IS ADORABLE,” said another.
