Grumpy people take revenge on neighbor’s light show
These certainly aren't the Christmas light displays that you are used to seeing.

Christmas is a time for spreading holiday cheer and positivity.

There are presents to give, family to see, feasts to eat, and, of course, Christmas trees to decorate.

But one of the most cheerful parts of the entire holiday is putting up the Christmas lights.

The colors and patterns that cover houses, bushes, and trees can warm even the coldest of hearts.

And now that Christmas is being celebrated in such a technology-driven society, lights alone don’t quite cut it.

Now people use projectors, lawn ornaments, and even music to add to their holiday spectacle.

However, for every cheery holiday person, there are always a few Scrooges out there.

And unfortunately for one such Christmas-light enthusiast, their house happened to be surrounded by a neighborhood filled with modern-day Scrooges.

When the owner of one particular house in Manchester decided that they wanted to go all-out with the Christmas decorations, they spared no expense.

They lined every window, door, and trim board on their house with Christmas lights, added light-up snowflakes to the walls, covered the shingles with string lights, and even mounted a light-up angel on the roof.

But that wasn’t enough for them.

These homeowners wanted to impress the neighbors with lights that shined and dimmed along with the beat of Christmas music.

In the video below, you can watch this house come alive with the Christmas spirit as their house flashes and shines to cheery holiday sounds.

However, rather than impress the neighbors, this home seemed to elicit a different sort of response.

The house directly to the left had just one thing to say to the light-up house on its right: “Tosser.”

Now, if you’re not from the UK, you may not know that “Tosser” isn’t exactly something that you want to be called.

In fact, it’s definitely not something that you want to be called.

But wasn’t the only neighbor who had something to say about the light display in the neighborhood.

Just one house over, another neighbor decided to share their feelings about the light-up house as well: “Show Off.”

Clearly, this isn’t exactly a street that’s alive with the Christmas spirit.

And if those two houses weren’t enough to convince the home-owners that all of their decorating efforts were for not, a third house on the street decided to share their thoughts as well.

They spelled, “Tiny Penis” with a string of Christmas lights and a light-up arrow that points across the street to the overdone house.

It’s hilarious and unfortunate all at the same time.

If the other neighbors had put the same amount of time and energy into decorating their own houses, rather than making fun of the first house, their whole neighborhood would have been lit up with Christmas cheer.

Instead, they focused their efforts on poking fun of the person who just wanted to celebrate a wonderful holiday.

Either way, the light displays are definitely something to see.

They may not be exactly what you’d expect on Christmas, but hey, everyone celebrates the holidays in their own way.
