What would you do if you wanted to give your new wife a surprise they didn’t expect on your wedding day?
For Sean Rajaee, this was on his mind while he was planning his wedding with his then-fiancĂ©e, Ariana. He eventually decided to choreograph a dance sequence featuring Persian music, Beyonce, Destiny’s Child, Bruno Mars, and the Backstreet Boys, Ariana’s favorite boy band.
He enlisted the help of his groomsmen, who were located all over the US, to dance with him. They learned the dance via video and they practiced the dance sequence during Sean’s supposed stag weekend. He canceled his stag party so he can prepare this surprise for his future wife.
What a sweet gesture!
And during the wedding reception, the bride and the guests gathered around the dance floor. They didn’t know what was going to happen until the music started.
Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love” began to fill the speakers.
And Sean and his groomsmen made the first dance move. And everybody started cheering and screaming, including the bride, who still couldn’t believe what her new husband had cooked up.
Shirin Rajaee, the groom’s sister and the one who uploaded this video on YouTube, was so shocked that her brother pulled this off. But she also knew her brother and expected something like this from him.
“My brother is an orthopedic surgeon,” Shirin said. “It’s interesting because a lot of people that know him from the medical world would be like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ But he’s a fun, funny kind of guy. The fact he got he got all the groomsmen to do it and to go along with it was crazy. A lot of them were coming from a long distance.”
And they used props!
Because what good is a fun dance sequence without props, right?
It’s great how strong the bond he has with his groomsmen. It’s quite obvious not all of them can dance and some of them had to be convinced to dance.
But they obviously wanted to do it for their family and friend who wanted to surprise his wife.
What a great start to this marriage, to have their family and friends to support their crazy ideas and make each other laugh and be happy.
And yes, because Sean comes from a Persian background, he also included Persian music in their performance. But he choreographed it so that the Persian music and dance blended easily in the middle.
Everybody was laughing and having a good time! Nobody could have guessed this was what Sean was planning behind the wedding planning scenes for his future wife.
Well, that was the point now, was it?
