Everybody knows that a good diet and exercise are the keys to a healthy lifestyle, but sometimes a greasy hamburger is just a bit more tempting than the gym.

As we age, it seems that exercise gets pushed even further to the wayside, with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services reporting that less than 5% of adults participate in 30 minutes of physical activity each day.

When it comes to seniors, only about 1/3 report being physically active at all— but the following ladies are definitely breaking that norm.

In February of 2016, Inside Edition aired a segment featuring 4 hot grannies with fitness routines and bodies that would put most of us to shame.

Learn more about them below.

Wendy Ida

Wendy Ida is a 65-year-old grandmother who lost 75 pounds as a result of diet and exercise. She didn’t start working out until she was 43 years old, but two years ago she told Inside Edition, “I absolutely feel better now, at 63-years-old, in a bikini than I did when I was 33!”

A self-proclaimed American expert of “Looking Fit, Fierce & Fabulous after 40”, Wendy holds 2 Guinness World Records awards: one for being the oldest active instructor in multiple disciplines, and another for “Burpees”, a type of calisthenics exercise.

Rebecca LaNasa is a 76-year-old Zumba instructor. This sexy grandmother has a love of fitness and began teaching Zumba classes nearly 12 years ago. Since then, Rebecca has also earned her Advanced Certification in Pilates and teaches about 10 hours of classes per week.

In the 2012-2013 pageant circuit, Rebecca took home the title of Ms. Florida Senior America. The quote in her description reads, “It’s never too late to start something new. Don’t dwell on past mistakes. Yesterday is gone, but there is tomorrow!”

Here she is walking with her granddaughter.
