Parents are a child’s first teachers. While children are still young, it’s expected that they’re totally dependent on you. But as times go by, you can definitely teach them many things.
You can start with the basics up to the most complicated things.
This grandpa-to-be from Vietnam has probably taught his child lots of things when he was young.
But now that his son is an adult, he taught him something that he should learn before he becomes a parent.
It’s how to bathe a newborn baby.
And we all know that this task isn’t easy. Yup, babies are adorable and it’s fun to take care of them. But they’re so fragile and they need extra care. That being said, we could tell that the pressure is on when you bathe them.
Vinh Quang Phạm did not have to worry, though. It’s because his dad was there to teach him such a thing.
So, his dad demonstrated the whole process in front of him. The catch is, he was using a cat as an example. How adorable is that? Aside from that, he also showed how to hold a baby with care.
Vinh was able to record that moment and he even shared the clip on Facebook.
“Grandpa practiced the guide to bathing beans,” he said based on Facebook Translation.
The father showed how to wash the baby’s head and it’s accurate.
When you clean the head of a newborn, you’ll need to carefully wipe the head, the face, and behind the ears.
When you proceed to the body, you need to gently rub the neck, arms, hands, as well as fingers. The knees and toes are supposed to be cleaned, too, and again- it should be done cautiously.
This is exactly how the father taught his son how to do it.
“Hold the neck, then put your hands on the butt cheeks, that will give you a better grip. Hold his butt and put him down in the basin,” the dad said in Vietnamese.
It looks like the cat liked it too!
The adorable cat was just quiet and calm the whole time.
You could tell that he was enjoying the whole process too. Well, we all know that cats love to be petted. And with this one, the cat was surely feeling that he was like a baby.
