2-year-old girl's first dance recital ends up being adorable mess on stage
But they were hilariously entertaining!

The beautiful art of dancing sometimes begins at a very tender age for some kids. As long as a wee one is fully potty trained, the petite dancer is able to begin taking dance classes.

To be honest, dancing at just two years of age is more for social skills and to learn the absolute basics of dance, such as the ball change and plie. But baby ballerinas are just too darn cute to watch in action, too.

Sometimes they really do grasp part of the routine they’ve rehearsed all year long in time for recital. Other dancers maybe catch a few eight counts and spend the rest of their performance staring blankly into the audience, which is what happened when Bella and her dance group took the stage for their recital.

Regardless of how much of their dance these young ones recall when on stage under those bright lights, they sure are super cute to watch.

Bella’s group of little darlings walked out onto stage with the cutest hairstyles and adorable dance costumes, teeny tiny ballet slippers on their feet.

For their recital song, the class instructor selected the fun and funky “Do You Love Me?” by The Contours. The song was wildly popular years ago when it was first released in 1962, then it had a resurgence when it was used in the legendary 1987 movie “Dirty Dancing.”

Bella’s class was all decked out in purple dance dresses with adorable fluffy tutus and a bow pinned at their waistline. As the girls walked out and took their spots, the music began playing and she put her hand behind her head then bobbed up and down. The music inspired her to shake her hips just a bit.

The itty bitty dancer glanced off to the side to watch her dance instructor who is charged with offering guidance. The look on her face was too funny.

She rolled her arms around her each and then she and her classmates are led to the back of the stage. This long song has really tested their talents.

The small group of girls skipped forward then they kicked their legs out in front of them. One poor little girl had stage fright and no interest in dancing anymore, so the teacher swooped her up and kept on dancing with Bella and the others.

The little ladies twisted side to side and bobbed up and down again, but a few of them have already lost interest in dancing and just stand around. It appeared to be the beginning of a train wreck and the wheels were falling off the wagon quickly.

The girls still boogieing threw in a spin move then the helpers led Bella to a partner. They clasped hands together and skipped around, her adorable ringlets bouncing up and down.

Her buddies, however, seem to be a bit confused.

The girls joined hands and formed a circle, then scooted around on stage. The song apparently is much too long, because Bella began to space off and stopped dancing altogether on stage.

There was a moment of chaos on stage when the girls realized none of them knew what they were doing at the end of the routine. The music thankfully ended and the teachers led the girls off the stage but Bella seemed not ready to leave.

So she adorably waved right before disappearing behind the black curtain.

Watch this gaggle of two-year-old dancing girls as they tried their very best during the recital. They’re so cute!
