Some will have questions, others will stare in silence, and some may express their honest reaction to the situation, whether it’s a good or bad reaction.
When 5-year-old Sophie went to meet her great grandmother and grandfather for the first time, her parents were concerned over how she would react since her grandmother suffers from dementia.
However, what happened next sent her mother, Sandy Miller, rushing for the camera.
Sophie began to sweetly sing “You Are My Sunshine” to her great nana as she gently stroked her face.
Sophie displayed an elegance that is far beyond her years. Her graceful reaction would leave anyone in awe.
When Sophie finished singing two verses of her song, her affection did not stop there. She then gave her great grandmother gentle kisses, which is such a pure gesture that just tugs at the heartstrings.
The internet swooned over this young lady’s treatment of her great grandmother with the video earning over 1 million views on YouTube. After watching it, you can easily see why it resonated with many people.
Clearly Sophie’s parents are raising her right. She is going to grow up into quite the special girl.
