Traveling can cause stress and anxiety.

Especially for first timers. So whatโ€™s the best way to calm those nerves? Laughter. And some flight attendants are giving their passengers a good dose of it! It helps!

One Southwest plane was treated to a comedy show prior to flying to their destination. Hats off to their creativity!

This is a pre-takeoff safety speech that took place on a flight to Islip, New York โ€“ and it had everyone cracking up.

The video begins with a Southwest flight attendant named Robert introducing the crew, but then he gets right down to business. Now if youโ€™ve flown, you know this part is important. So pay attention.

Ready for a seatbelt demonstration spiced up with dry-humor? He tells the passengers:

โ€œโ€ฆin the event you have not been in an automobile since 1942, weโ€™re going to show you how to fasten a seatbelt, watch closely. Do this.โ€

Robert then kicks it up a notch by explaining they need to have their seatbelts โ€œlow and tightโ€ across their hips โ€“ similar to the hot pink Speedo heโ€™ll be wearing later that nightโ€ฆ

The flight attendant gives instructions on the life vest, all in the โ€œunlikely eventโ€ the captain turns their flight into a cruise. He reminds them that itโ€™s not a toilet seat cover, and if theyโ€™re looking for the crew in the water โ€“ theyโ€™ll be the ones โ€œtoting that liquor kit.โ€

While Robertโ€™s giving his speech the other flight attendant acts as the demonstrator.

Itโ€™s a wonder heโ€™s able to keep his composure!

You shouldnโ€™t smoke on a plane, but these passengers got a comical reminder.

If they have a cigarette during the flight โ€“ there are two โ€œentertainment loungesโ€ on the plane, one on the left wing and the other on the right. But while theyโ€™re trying to smoke, everyone else will be watching Gone with the Wind and Bye Bye Birdie.

He says:

โ€œVery simple, very easy, donโ€™t be naughty in the potties and leave the webcam alone in thereโ€ฆโ€

Thereโ€™s so much more to this funny safety speech, but just wait until you hear what he has to say about the oxygen masks!

According to Yahoo! News, Robertโ€™s been a flight attendant for Southwest since 2005 โ€“ and unsurprisingly, these arenโ€™t the only passengers heโ€™s made laugh. In the video, he ends his instructions with a song set to the classic Barney tune:

โ€œWe love you. You love us. Weโ€™re much faster than the bus. We hope you enjoy our hospitality, marry one of us and youโ€™d fly free.โ€
