Taking the perfect panorama photo isn’t easy. For starters, you need to make sure that nothing in the frame is moving. Otherwise, you’ll be in for a big surprise when you check the image out afterward.
That’s what happened to these amateur photographers. They pulled out their phones, started recording, and ultimately, had no idea what they were doing. It resulted in 75 photos that are both ridiculous and hilarious.
From cats that have bodies stretching across an entire room to people that look like mutants, this list will show you exactly what happens when you fail at capturing a panorama. Learn from their mistakes, or don’t. It’s up to you. The truth is that some of these images are actually quite cool.
The phone got turned sideways in the middle of this beach panorama shot. It caused the waves to swell up well above their normal size. It looks like a giant tsunami is about to hit.

This could have been a very cool photo. Instead, it ended up looking like there were a bunch of body parts being thrown into a lake. It’s downright freaky.
Is this some sort of new Pokemon? That’s our best guess. The man was playing Pokemon on his phone while walking and magically turned into one.
It turns out, the sayings about sailing off of the edge of the earth are true. This photo is proof. The only other explanation is that it is a poorly taken panorama.
The beach is a great place for taking panorama shots. You just have to make sure that no animals are running by. Otherwise, your photo might end up like this one.
This Dachshund has an extra-long snout. The failed panorama photo makes him look like a baby elephant. He belongs out on the open savannah.

Sometimes, when you move during a panorama photo you end up looking like an abstract painting. This image could have easily been produced by Picasso. We wouldn’t even have questioned it.
There is a lot of motion in this pic. It caused the woman to grow at least seven heads. It makes us dizzy just looking at it.
If we didn’t know any better, we would have guessed this was a futuristic car driven by a robot hand. It turns out, it’s just another failed panorama. Maybe, one day, this car model will be a reality, although, there isn’t much space for passengers.
It’s very hard to get a dog to stand still long enough to take a panorama. In fact, it’s pretty much impossible. We have never seen it done successfully.
Imagine being in the water when this wave showed up. It would be a huge disaster. Luckily, it’s not actually real though. It’s just a panorama fail.
The Statue of Liberty is one of the most photographed landmarks in the United States. Although, this photo definitely didn’t go as planned. The photographer will just have to buy one of the Lady Liberty postcards that they sell on the streets instead.

There’s nothing to see here, folks. It’s just a random pair of legs that are missing a body on the end of a huge couch. Don’t worry, it’s totally normal.
“I took a photo of Butters the corgi while she was swimming on panorama mode. It created a Corgi-pillar,” explains the photographer. It is one long corgi, that is for sure! She almost looks like an eel.

The girlfriend was swaying to some music during her boyfriend’s panorama photo. This is what happened. He got more of her than he bargained for.
This is a really interesting dog breed. That’s for sure. It only has two legs and it is very tall compared to the length of its body.
Kid’s gymnastics can be pretty entertaining. Parents love watching their kids having fun and playing around. It’s actually surprising how flexible some of the young gymnasts are too.
Here we have a dog that is a little longer than most. He is very bendy in the center. He can contort his body into all kinds of weird positions.
Some panoramas are just kind of gross. For example, this guy’s photo. He made it look like he has the world’s longest index finger. It’s great for pointing at things.
It would be pretty neat if the Big Ben clock tower actually looked like this. It would be an architectural phenomenon. Balancing large buildings at weird angles is no easy feat.
This panorama resulted in a bus that looks like a big yellow train. It’s about ten different buses smashed together. Hopefully, the bridge is able to support all of that weight.
While the boy was playing in the sand, the dad’s body completely transformed. Now, he is just a head on a leg. When the boy eventually looks up, he is going to be so freaked out.
66. Panorama Decapitation
Normally, decapitation is a little messier than this. This one looks like a very clean separation. There isn’t even any blood showing.
This girl has a pretty goofy-looking haircut. Her forehead is completely bald but the back is very long. It’s a new twist on the classic mullet.
No, the woman is not normally this unattractive. It’s all the boyfriend’s fault. He is really bad at taking photos, especially panoramas.
Is this a photo of the Invisible Man? All we can see are the clothes that the guy is wearing. He is definitely a superhero of some sort.
This man has a hand where his head is supposed to be. We’re not sure how he can see where he is going. He must navigate entirely by using his sense of touch.
Riding a scooter isn’t supposed to be this crazy. However, the photo definitely makes it look like it is. It appears as though there is a train of scooter riders all on top of each other.
If only real life was like this. We could just create multiple clones of ourselves using our phones. It would make getting chores done so much easier.
“Our self-taken panorama of my husband and I at the Grand Canyon turned out better than expected,” writes the woman. Both of them merged into one very wide human with three legs.
This abstract art photo ended up a little more abstract than the model wanted. It was supposed to just be the background mural that was abstract. Not his actual body.
In this failed panorama, it looks like the dog is running through the brick wall. She goes in one side and comes out of the other. It’s a pretty cool trick.
