Flight Attendant Brings Laughter With Hilarious Speech

When taking an airplane for travel it is highly important to listen to the flight attendants explain safety precautions and guidelines. Yet, it is hard to stay concentrated when a flight attendant is monotone and repeats the instructions the same way every flight. Many of us might miss some important by zoning out. How do flight attendants battle this situation?

One flight attendant decided to create his own safety instructions that had the entire plane laughing hysterically!

A flight attendant for Frontier airlines has his own stand-up routine and audience to make laugh right there on the plane. He even gets his fellow flight attendants to laugh, no better way to enjoy work than with humor.

For passengers, flights can be hectic and boring, but not on this plane!

The flight attendant starts his safety guidelines about having to leave the airplane mid flight. While this does not seem to be a big concern on most flights, he wanted to make sure to cover all his bases by telling the passengers,

“If you do decide to leave, you will not be allowed access back on board and parachutes are not included.”

Starting from the very beginning of his speech, these passengers must have known this was not going to be the ordinary, boring flight. This could have been helpful to ease any nerves that some passengers could have had.

Many do hate flying after all.

When it was time to explain to everyone how use the life vests during an emergency, he was not going to give the same boring lecture. He called the life vests,

“…itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini. Minus the itsy bitsy teeny weeny and you get no polka dots.”

This is when another flight attendant that is showing the life vest instructions finally cracks! She cannot help but laugh either, right along with the passengers. You have to wonder if they had ever flown together or if it was her first time hearing his instructions as well. We would not blame her if she had and just laughs every time. I would not mind hearing this on every flight I fly!

Every flight lets their passengers know the two ways to inflate their vest, the pull tab or the red tube to blow it up yourself. I do not know about you, but I have always wondered who would ever choose to blow it themselves in such an emergency? This flight attendant felt the same way by stating,

“…for those of you who love to make life difficult you can blow on that red tube near your shoulder…”

Frontier Airlines, or maybe just this flight attendant, understands that honesty is always the best policy, but maybe some advice they should not take. Hopefully they realized he was joking in certain cases such as using a neighbor as a floating device or choosing your favorite child to put their oxygen mask on first.

Flying is a very serious matter and can be very scary when talking about what needs to happen during emergencies. So, creating some humor to lighten the mood and keep people paying attention is a great tactic by this flight attendant.
