But there are two sides to every story.
And there are moments in time where taking photos were a bad idea. But there’s nothing you can do about it, you can only hide it.
Unfortunately, there are people who are brave enough to show it to the world. Or showed it online for the people without their knowledge. Like these people.
At least they’ve find a good way to laugh about it! Just like this young lady who caught a fish with the picture being hung up in her elementary school for an entire weelk.
10 years, they had this family photo taken professionally. We’re confused. Did they bring the wrong baby to the studio?
It was an exciting day, to get your photo taken. You can see it in the smile. But damn. That hair. And that shirt. Oh no, no, no.
Someone’s very cranky when this photo was taken. Twenty years later, the photo is very much still alive. And even displayed in the house by his parents. Lucky!
Looks like this kid has a lot on his mind. Literally. That’s a lot of thoughts in his head.

14. Figure skating memories
She was nine years old and she was a figure skater. They told her her outfit was very nice and beautiful. They lied.
Trying to get a normal, smiling photo with this family is near impossible. Just look at this photo. It’s like a progression of the type of funny faces a person can make.
Ah, the 90s. Where most girls and ladies thought blow drying their hair into big waves and wearing big, dangling earrings can pass for a model shot. No wonder photo studios were such a big hit in the 90s!
He’s very trendy when this photo was taken, huh? And he’s also made sure it looks good on him with the semi-buzz cut on top and the combed bottom. And that silk shirt with hearts. Oh man.
18. Did he smell something?
Kindergarten, 1986. It was school photo day. It was all going well until he smelled something. He smelled something bad.
He wanted to do something special for his photo. He couldn’t think of anything until the last minute. He still regrets it decades later.
He was trying to hide something he didn’t want the girls to see. So he grew his hair long. And no, this wasn’t the 70s. This was 2010.
21. What were they thinking?
His parents knew and they still had this photo developed. What were they thinking? Now this look has been immortalized.
Oh, the 80s. Depending on how you look at it, it can be great or the worst. In this guy’s case, well, you judge for yourself.
Her husband had to go digging around. She wanted to let go of this photo from so long ago. Now, the cat’s out of the bag.
He was trying to go for the cool kid look. You know with the raised eyebrow and smirk. They should have practiced it in the mirror first.

28. They’re such a catch!
Oh, yeah! Look at all of them rocking their suits. How can they still be single?
She wanted to be Snoop Dogg. And she told everyone. That’s why everyone called her Snoopy.
He’s trying to have an emo moment. But his dad ruining every minute of it!
This boy loves salami. He loves it so much that he’s willing to decorate his face with it. And immortalize that face with a photo.

33. Are you feeling down?
Are you feeling upset? Feel like nothing is going right? Just look at this photo and it’ll cheer you up instantly!
Maybe she wanted to be a Buddhist monk. But since she was still in the 5th grade and lived in the US, this is the most she can do.
His daughter is in high school and wants to wear “cool” things. He sets her straight by showing her this “cool” photo of him in high school. Lesson learned.
Her husband said that if she ever showed this photo of 8-year-old him attending a Star Trek convention, he’d divorce her. She called him on his bluff and posted the photo. They’re still together to this day.

2005. They thought they were so cool. But this photo can’t hide the fact that they made some really bad hair decisions that year.

51. Santa makes everything better
Wonder why this photo is in this list because this photo is pretty cool. And it’s a photo that everybody in this photo will laugh about decades later. But in a good, jolly way!
She was sleeping and she woke up somewhere else. Or in another dimension. Was she kidnapped by aliens in her sleep?
He wanted to show off his beard. So he took this photo. We’re still looking for the beard.
She wanted to be an ear for Halloween. Her dad made this pretty impressive ear costume. But she can’t blame him for this photo. She wanted to be an ear. An ear.
He decided to dress up in this dress, complete with a hat that ties under the chin. Nope. It wasn’t Halloween.
56. She was a trendsetter
She thought she was so cool in this photo. Look at her glasses. There’s a heart there, instead of her sleeve. Was she trying to start a trend?
His parents were maybe Elvis fans. They even drew sideburns on his face! Didn’t match his hair color but okay.
He wanted steampunk goggles but couldn’t afford it. So he painted his swimming goggles instead. Not so bad.
It was 2001 and the Internet was still only a few years old. He was probably one of the few people who got the Net early and wanted to show off with this phot. He’s “surfin’ the Web,” get it?
Her mom wanted to go out for family dinner. She wanted to be upside down. Good thing they both know how to compromise.
61. When MySpace was still cool
He really thought this photo would make him stand out on MySpace. Maybe he did. But for the wrong reasons.
He had spikes in his hair. But the school didn’t want it. So they photoshopped an afro into his hair.
His mom mixed up photo day and pajama day. So his Sponge Bob pajamas are now immortalized.

You know being rad isn’t easy. It’s hard business. Exhibit A: this photo.
This little boy drank too much soda probably. And he couldn’t hold it in. No, he couldn’t. He had to do it.
