There are certain songs that are so classic, you need to bring your A game if youโre going to perform them. โI Will Always Love Youโ is near the top of that list. Itโs an iconic tune, but itโs also one that most people have a hard time singing. Even professional adult singers have a hard time hitting the right notes, let alone children.
However, one four-year-old boy can be seen performing this song on YouTube, and he is singing his heart out.

Jurabek Juraev sings this song beautifully.
While most people are familiar with the song because Whitney Houston made it famous, Dolly Parton was actually the first person to sing it. She also wrote it.
While it may sound like the perfect song to listen to while you eat ice cream and cry over a breakup with a lover, itโs actually about the breakup of singing partners Dolly and longtime mentor Porter Wagoner.

She talked about the song in the โ90s saying:
โYou get in these love-hate relationships with people that you work with. Porter and I were very competitive and passionate. Then youโd get all jealous, too. And I am not ashamed of feeling this way. But finally, it was just breaking my heart because I thought, well, Iโm going. He wonโt listen. Thereโs nothing I can say that will make it easier. So I just sat down and wrote this song.โ

โI Will Always Love Youโ was recorded by Dolly Parton on June 13, 1973.
It was released as a single on June 6, 1974. It was on her 1974 album โJolene,โ too. At one point, Elvis wanted to record the song. Dolly wasnโt willing to give up half of the rights, though, so it didnโt happen. She talked about the deal, saying:
โI thought, โOh, no, thatโs already been a hit and thatโs what Iโm leaving for my family.โ It had nothing to do with Elvis because hopefully, he was disappointed, too. But I just wouldnโt let him have the publishing.โ
Whitney recorded the song for โThe Bodyguard,โ but it almost didnโt make it on the film.
โWhat Becomes of the Brokenheartedโ was originally set for the finale of โThe Bodyguard.โ But when the producers of the film discovered the song was set to be used for โFried Green Tomatoes,โ they had to find a replacement. Kevin Costner actually suggested that โI Will Always Love Youโ be used instead.

Dolly was always proud of how well Whitney sang her song and that it brought her so much attention and fame.
After Whitney passed away in 2012, Dolly talked about the singer and her song. She said:
โI will always be grateful and in awe of the wonderful performance she did on my song and I can truly say from the bottom of my heart, โWhitney, I will always love you. You will be missed.'โ
Several other artists have recorded the song over the years and come up with new renditions of it.
They include Linda Ronstadt, Vince Gill, John Doe, Sarah Washington, and Roger Whittaker. Now, young Jurabek can also be added to that list.

While his version of the song is unique, it is still amazing.
It shows off his amazingly powerful vocals and ability to sing. While he may be young, he is clearly very talented. He took a difficult song that has been sung by some of the greatest singers of all time and wasnโt afraid to make it his own. Whitney and Dolly should both be really proud of him.

Jurabekโs family, friends, and fans are all thrilled with the video. Heโs recorded other songs, as well.
One can only imagine how far this kid will go โ especially being able to nail a tough song like โI Will Always Love Youโ at just four years old. Itโll be exciting to see, thatโs for sure.
