When a couple gets married, a part of the program always includes their first wedding dance together as newlyweds.
Some couples opt to go to traditional and dance a slow dance to their favorite song. And then there are some who go one step further and choose a non-traditional dance. Some hire a choreographer to help them create an original dance sequence for them.
And then there are some who recreate their favorite dance sequences as their wedding dance.
One of the popular dance sequences for weddings nowadays is the famous sequence from the movie, “Dirty Dancing.” And this of course includes the part where Patrick Swayze lifts Jennifer Grey up on the air. It’s the part everyone in the wedding anticipate.
Ada and Mateusz had just gotten married and they chose the same sequence for their first wedding dance as newlyweds.
Wearing a knee-length, sleeveless lace dress, Ada waited in the middle of the dance floor for her new husband, Mateusz.
Clad in black button-down polo and black pants, Mateusz walked up to Ada and took her hand.
While their guests surround them around the dance floor, they nail the dance successfully. With smiles on their faces, they enjoy the dance while their guests cheer them on.
Finally, it’s time for the moment everyone’s been waiting for. How will the lift go?
The people who watched Ada and Mateusz’ wedding dance loved it!
“Oh my God, that was so amazing…perfect dance and the lift was just amazing… IF I EVER GET MARRIED I WANT THIS TOO! I WON’T ACCEPT ANYTHING ELSE,” Chaos Queen gushed.
Some even think it’s better than the original dance sequence from the movie.
“Excellent – more enjoyable than the original in my opinion. Happy Anniversary you two. Hope married life together is as good as your dancing together,” Ivy Murphy shared.
“I must have watched this movie 100 times and the lift ALWAYS gives me chills. This couple nailed it perfectly. Outstanding performance,” Barbara Lenox said.
Some girls even made this a criteria for their future husbands to follow.
“I hope my future Husband can dance like this!” Lara Viole declared.
“The wedding couples nowadays pay huge attention to the first dance and they always try to prepare something unforgettable both for them and for the guests. A very common thing is to even attend special dance classes,” Dagi and Rafa wrote on their website, Partners on the Road.
Well, with the way Ada and Mateusz nailed the dance, it definitely looked like it was a wedding dance that will be remembered by all their guests for a long time!
