When the Greenville Fire Department accepted the Lip Sync Challenge, they showed the world that not only do they work hard โ they play hard too.

For this particular one, itโs a trend that had first-responders around the country putting down their work for a moment and having some well-deserved fun. Each department would choose a song that they wanted to lip sync to. As for the rest of the video? Well, that was up to them!
We watched the Nixa cops cut loose to โFootlooseโ and the officers from Norfolk get down to โUptown Funk.โ You might be thinking it sounds unfair that the police had all the fun โ but there were actually some fire departments that joined in on the battle too!

Instead of selecting just one song for their submission, the Greenville Fire Department decided to lip sync along to a variety of popular tracks. The video starts with Flo Ridaโs โMy Houseโ โ so what better background than the fire station itself?
Weโre given a little tour as one main firefighter walks through different rooms while mouthing the lyrics. But itโs about to go up a few degreesโฆ
Yep, someone definitely turned up the heat.
The next scene is like one straight from a calendar. A Greenville Fire-Rescue truck pulls up with a bunch of firefighters riding along. Although it appears theyโre in proper uniform โ you quickly realize, wait, there arenโt any shirts under those vests!
With LMFAOโs โSexy and I Know Itโ blasting in the background, the firefighters dance and โwiggleโ their rumps. The fact that theyโre being sprayed with water the whole time is just the icing on the cake.
Eventually, it comes to a slight simmer.
In this scene, the Greenville firefighters give us a glimpse of their work skills too. It takes place in a burned-down building where theyโre digging with tools while lip syncing to the song, โDanger Zoneโ by Kenny Loggins. Nice job boys!
