To say that Cameron Hughes is a mega fan would be an understatement. He has devoted his career to bringing a smile to people’s faces after going to one sporting event with an uninterested crowd, and after standing up and dancing with no inhibitions, he’s done the same at every game he’s been to since. But while getting ready to go show his stuff at a Canadian rugby game, there was a distraction.

Cameron Hughes had already made his way down the stairs and thrown some merchandise when he realizes that he has a shadow. He turns to find a young man with down syndrome upstaging him. For real, this new guy’s moves are good if not better than Cameron’s. The crowd sees and goes wild for him, which only fuels his dancing shoes more.

Instead of an impromptu performance, this man, whose name is Malcolm, looks like he has a choreographed routine to Bruno Mars’s “24k Magic” and isn’t just making it up as he goes in the middle of the aisle.

You forget that you’re in the middle of a break in a Canada Sevens rugby game and start to think this is what you came to see.

Pretty soon Malcolm loses the jacket and whips it around his head before tossing it. Hughes is simply in shock. All he can do is watch and encourage everyone nearby to clap and keep watching the scene unfold, all the while he is having an absolute blast showing off his moves. Hughes hands him a few shirts, and like his jacket, they get chucked into the crowd of admiring fans.

After the dance goes on a minute, Hughes comes up beside him and tells him to cut his hands across the air. As he does, the music cuts out and everyone that was watching goes wild. We think it’s the end as the two dancers start a slow clap, but when Malcolm realizes it’s all for him, he breaks out into more moves and the music starts up again.

There’s no stopping his energetic spirit and who would want to? Seeing someone loving life as much as Malcolm is heartwarming not just to everyone in the stands, but everyone tuning into the YouTube video.
