For one young man, the best day of his life would come from a random encounter at a drugstore one dayโฆ
Anthony Yorfido is a young man with down syndrome that visited a medical supply store one day. If thereโs one thing you need to know about Anthony, itโs that heโs a huge Aerosmith fan. He wanted to get tickets to the upcoming Aerosmith concert in Welland, Ont., but he couldnโt because they were all sold out. As he entered the medical supply store, however, he noticed a man looking for a back brace that he instantly recognized. Anthonyโs mom, Diane, said,
โIโm looking at him and I know his face, but I couldnโt think of his name.โ But Anthony did. โHe goes, โOh, my God! Steven Tyler, is that you?โโ
Anthony immediately went over to his idol and gave him a big hug. Steven graciously hugged him back and asked Anthony if he would be going to the show tonight.
When Anthony told Steven how he couldnโt get any tickets because they were all sold out, Steven said, โOh, donโt worry about that, you guys are coming with me.
