Game shows are a blast to watch, especially ones where an unexpected blooper happens that has everyone cracking up. In fact, there are entire YouTube video compilations highlighting the hilarious gaffes and whoopsies that have occurred over the years on popular televised game shows.

There’s the woman who answered “gerbil” on Family Feud when asked the question, “What is something a doctor might pull out of a person?” Her opponent can’t stop cracking up and host Steve Harvey is stunned. He has a heyday making fun of her after that crazy answer.

Then there’s the time on Wheel of Fortune when host Pat Sajak can’t believe the wild guesses the contestants make, so much so that he becomes exasperated and literally walks off the stage.

One contestant on Family Feud Canada will be forever known for her big blunder. The Dubois family squared off against the Tomlin family and it was time for the sudden death round.

Eve Dubois confidently strolled up to the podium to face her opponent Logan Tomlin. They’re both well aware that one wrong answer would cost them $10,000 and a win. Host Gerry Dee emphasized how important this one question was.

“Alright, real simple. There’s one question, only one answer. Whoever gets it, you’re playing for $10,000. Whoever guesses this wins the game.”

The question was:

“Name Popeye’s favorite food.”

Eve suddenly zips her arm out and slaps the buzzer lightning fast. Then she comically sings her answer along with a little dance.

“Chiiiiiiccckkkkeeeennnnn!”

Yes, she answered chicken for Popeye’s favorite food. Eve misunderstood the question and was thinking of Popeye’s the restaurant, not Popeye the cartoon character with the bulging muscles.

Her family’s reaction is hysterical. They freak out and one woman grabs her hair in frustration. Another stands there with her mouth agape in disbelief.

Eve’s opponent Logan quickly swooped in and answered correctly.

“Spinach, Gerry.”

His family starts cheering and jumping, ecstatic that Logan just won the game. Eve attempted to cover up her now-viral whoopsie with a quick explanation.

“I thought you meant Popeye’s Chicken!”

Gerry starts mocking Eve’s dance and she was mortified with what happened. So far, more than one million people have seen Eve’s chicken dance, including Popeye’s restaurant leaders.

They loved Eve’s answer and on Twitter, extended an offer to her that she couldn’t refuse: $10,000 worth of chicken!

Fortunately, Eve wasn’t scarred forever by her mistake. In fact, she shared a video on Twitter showing herself dancing around with fried chicken, showing that she’s always had a fondness for the food.

Watch Eve’s blunder in the video below. You’ll either laugh along with the audience or cringe with embarrassment for her. Either way, you have to take a peek! Hopefully, she enjoys her $10,000 worth of chicken because the rest of us are cracking up over her answer.
