We have all been in quarantine for almost two months now (since March) but frankly, it feels like the last two months were two years. Time moves slowly when you are self-isolating and itโ€™s tough because, you know, we are in a pandemic so itโ€™s pretty serious and we feel like we canโ€™t do much about it.

While we cannot see our friends or spend time with loved ones in person during this time, it doesnโ€™t mean we canโ€™t get a little creative.

Sure, the current circumstances arenโ€™t ideal but if we are being honest, now is probably the best time to have to quarantine. We live in a world chock full of video games, Netflix, and endless other ways to get things done thanks to technology.

I mean, imagine having to quarantine before technology โ€” would we just stare at the wall until it is time for bed again?

Thanks to our ever-evolving technological advances, people have been finding ways to get creative. For instance, these 14 families from Western Springs, Illinois decided that they could all film a fun dance together without actually seeing each other.

So how did they manage to pull it off, you ask? Easy: drones.

Drones are an, albeit strange, way to connect with people but hey, it is a way. And luckily, these 14 families came together and actually managed to make it super fun.

The end result is super fun and silly.

Each family is seen from overhead โ€” it looks like the drone is pretty far away in the sky. Each family member is lying next to one another in a perfect line.

The video continues to switch back and forth between each family. They all get their own 15 seconds of fame as they are shown one at a time. Then throughout the video, all of the families are edited together in one big collage and it is so heartwarming.

A birdโ€™s eye view shot of their town in Illinois is shot at the beginning as the words โ€œSocial Distancing Danceโ€ flashes on the screen. You canโ€™t even be mad at them because they all managed to social distance throughout the entire making of this adorable clip.

The song they all dance to is โ€œDance Monkeyโ€ by Tones and I and it is perfect for the occasion. Not only is it super upbeat, but one of the main lyrics is, โ€œDance for me.โ€ We would say thatโ€™s relevant for the fun dance!

The families all move in unison together as they show off some choreographed moves. At one point they lay on the ground and wave their arms and legs (as if they were making a snow angel), then they roll over together in a line, and then hold hands and do the wave.

We love how all of the moves make it so that each family member is connected with one another!

Sometimes the clip shows one family at a time, four families at a time, twelve familiesโ€ฆ You get the idea.

It is a really fun and creative clip and weโ€™re starting to believe that drones are coming in handy for a lot of people during this time, like this guy who has been social distance dating via drone. A bit crazy!
