How far would you go to get someone back?
When two former lovers go back to talking again and they’re still not committed to another relationship, chances are they will try again.
But others are not so accepting that their ex-lover has found another person to give their love to. Some of them even resort to shocking acts that will leave everyone hurt, confused, and aghast.
In a video circulating in China, an unbelievable scene unfolded at a wedding.
The recording of the wedding shows a groom and two brides – one is his fiancé while the other is his distraught ex.
The 30-second clip showed a shocking scene where the groom’s ex-girlfriend crashed into his wedding wearing a wedding gown.
The ex-girlfriend can be seen kneeling in front of the groom.
She was pulling his hand and the hems of his coat and was begging him to get back together with her. Everyone in the ceremony could only watch probably in a mixture of shock and confusion.
The ex-lover allegedly crashed into the ceremony right when the couple was about to share their wedding kiss.
Throughout the ordeal, the groom was sticking with her bride.
The bride, however, was as mortified with the drama. You could see her snatch her hand away from her groom and march out and away from the embarrassing drama. No one could blame her, though.
The host tried to keep the ceremony together, albeit in vain. According to the Daily Mail, the emcee was saying “we have an unexpected situation here” and that “perhaps this is the reality of love”.
If it was an elaborate prank, we’ll never know. But the damage can be seen all throughout the short clip, mentally and emotionally.
The clip was first uploade2d by an entertainment blogger.
It has since become viral after it was shared all over social media. According to a media channel affiliated to the Hunan Legal Channel, the groom broke up with the woman because of differences in their personality.
The ex-girlfriend was allegedly heard saying that “it was my fault” and that she was asking him to forgive her and to give them a second chance.
“Or forever hold your peace” was definitely taken to a whole new level.
She didn’t only object to the union, but she did so in full wedding attire may be thinking that the ceremony would be for her and her ex-lover instead.
We may not know the full story behind this shocking story but we think we can agree on the same thing – there’s a proper venue for things like these.
Web users on China’s Weibo, a social media site, condemned the ex-girlfriend’s actions.
A viewer wrote: “This is more than inappropriate. From the standpoint of the bride, how could the wedding carry on?” considering the amount of time and resources that were invested in the wedding.
Another comment echoed the sentiments of others saying not to destroy other people’s relationships just to satisfy their own obsession. One also said that it was something even they couldn’t see on TV shows.
