1. It’s festive!
It was really nice of these dogs to give Christmas a try, but we’re not sure they fully understood the point of all that extra paper.
They look pretty hopeful that everyone will appreciate their efforts though.
Just blame Santa.
2. Stay on the sidewalk
Of course, he was probably just trying to stay out of the mud like a good boy.
We just really hope it’s not the neighbor’s dog.
3. I’m helping!
He’s just trying to help with the chores, but it’s probably supposed to be picking up dog hair, not acting as a doggie bumper car.
4. Thanks for the toy
That’s why you don’t hand them your childhood toy.
Honestly, we wonder why they even make stuffed toys for dogs. The stuffing inside can’t be good for anyone.
When you think it’s cute for your doggo to play with a childhood stuffed toy… (the fluff was like that when we found him) from r/AnimalsBeingJerks
5. Doggie doorman
In fact, small things don’t even have to unlatch the door to get in.
What a victory!
6. Splish splash
Blue feels like he needs to protect everyone while they’re in the bathtub, but he also looks like he’d prefer people take fewer baths.
So relaxing.
Everytime someone gets in the bath tub, Blue figures he needs to be in there as well. pic.twitter.com/4TlWtJ2vvl

7. Danger zone
Then again, he might be more fearsome when he’s awake.
At least he’s big!
Beware of floofer from r/aww
8. They forgot how to dog
But they seem to be taking the “behaving” thing a little too seriously.
That or they’re playing the statue game, which we didn’t know dogs were into.
Got a live feed camera so I could see what my dogs are up to while I’m at work from r/WhatsWrongWithYourDog
9. Green thumb
Grass stains are hard enough to get out on clothing, but on white fur!?
NOT ideal.
10. Snugglebutt
It’s going to be a little hard to walk around, but sometimes you just have to accept the love.
Thats a nice hat from r/aww
11. Guard dog fail
We’re not sure if this dog was purchased as a guard dog, but we think they should have gone with something less fluffy and adorable if they wanted to keep people away. This guy brings them in!
12. One big, happy family
He has a funny way of showing it, but we’re guessing no one asked him to make a speech.
And, honestly, if you invite a dog to a wedding, what else can you expect? (At least, we hope that’s their dog!)
happy doggo from r/aww
13. Ready for his close-up
How is it the dog’s fault that you didn’t specify that he should sit NEXT TO his sibling?
Luckily, this is just as photo-worthy.
14. Honey, I’m home!
We would definitely be frustrated by our bashed-in screen door and the lack of remorse (simply because dogs are incapable of it), but you can’t deny that it comes with the territory of having a big, joyful ball of fur around.
Dog-shaming is effective because it lets humans blow off steam and the dogs have no idea they’re in trouble. In fact, they think they’re getting attention.
15. This button?
If you’re going to teach your dog to behave in the car, perhaps the first trick should be “unlock.”
16. His superpower is concussions
And we think it might have something to do with how many times they crash into things thinking that they’ll magically end up on the other side.
My friend got his dog a dog door. After taking hours to teach him how to use it, he ran in and out of it happily. Later that day they hear a loud “thud” against another door in the house. The dog thought he’d been granted the magical ability to walk through any shut door.

17. Oooooooo
They’re adorable weirdos sometimes – ok, all the time.
Gave her a tp tube to play with, and she proceeded to breathe through it like this for over a minute… from r/AnimalsBeingDerps
18. Landscaper
We’d be frustrated by the digging (but it’s instinct, and it really can be hard – but not impossible – to train out of them) but we’re pretty sure once we saw this blooming boy we’d have to laugh.
Whether we could maintain the smiles during the dog bath and clean-up is another matter.
19. Beware of cuteness
Ok, so maybe the Germans are the only ones who can say that with such a short phrase.
Either way, we see some guard dogs in need of training.
20. Playtime is over
These toys really aren’t indestructable, no matter what they claim.
Do you get a refund if your dog becomes a supervillian?
21. Take it on the chin
Poor doggo doesn’t know how to just opt-out.
Life with a dog really is one big blooper real, isn’t it?
For my cake day, I would like to show you the EXACT moment my dog decided he was done playing Catch The Frisbee (xpost from /funny) from r/PerfectTiming
22. Taste tester
If you own a dog, you’ve probably eaten a thing or two they’ve stuck their noses in, whether you know it or not.
A big dollop of whipped cream clearly looked like a bullseye for this funny guy.
Right for the whip cream on the pie. No regret.. just smiles… Now I’ll just fix the whip cream spot and not two my family at dinner. 🙈 from r/aww
23. Look what I brought you!
And how big the fail must have felt when he ended up stuck in the staircase.
This probably works as a metaphor for everyone’s life sometimes.
24. Makeup monster
Unfortunately, she forgot that lipstick goes on lips.
Then again, she doesn’t have thumbs, so maybe she really was trying to apply it correctly and just failed.
25. Contained
Of course, the part you rely on them to just sort of “get” on their own is the getting out when you get home part. Or at least leaping out when they’re about to fall over.
I put my dog in a bag and she won’t get out pic.twitter.com/KpgglPUaGN

26. Safety first
This dog is the worst safe-sex educator…wait, no, we’re pretty sure there are worse.
Just remember not to take condoms from dogs.
What my dog so thoughtfully brought to me after rolling around in the mud at the park.. from r/funny
27. Stuck on you
So happy that he’s stuck. Stuck on her, that is.
Well, and in the window.
28. Pre-wash
It’s too bad human food isn’t good for dogs or we could just outsourse this chore to them and everyone would be happy.
Frankly, we think the bigger blooper probably came when he tried to extricate himself.
29. I went to my crate
Maybe he just saw a cage and felt like that was his outdoor safe place, complete with alternative treats.
Either way, we’re glad someone found him before he got too distressed.
30. Mighty hunter
This guy’s sniffer is clearly focused on something else at the moment.
Good thing he can’t see this photo later or he’d really be giving himself a facepalm.
31. Sometimes the territory marks you
She’s going to smell fresh-as-Spring all day long!
We just hope no one has allergies.
32. Half-on, half-off
Maybe the goal is just to stay on the towel.
But can they really sleep like that?
33. Caught it! [Kind of]
Because if not, how do you expect them to learn to use the toy properly?
He does seem content to wear it though.
34. Welcome home!
And all of your window treatments are, indeed, doomed once you get a dog.
But isn’t that happy smile worth it? Maybe?
35. Gone fishin’
Obviously, this could have ended badly, so we’re glad someone got ahold of him to lend a hand.
He looks like he might never try that again. Or hold off for at least a week.
36. Those hard-to-reach places
It just accumulates the gross kind of dog hair.
But somehow that seems easier to sweep out.
37. Smile pretty
These 4 are famous and Hina, the white Shiba Inu, loves ruining photos.
But she really does think she’s smiling!
https://www.instagram.com/p/CKNMX1FhDEw/
38. Bee eater
Saving your family from bees is a tough job. But that swelling will go down soon.
We almost can’t look – although she doesn’t seem to be in pain, just proud.
39. Just hanging out
We’re not sure what she was going for here. A leap over the swing? An actual swing back and forth?
Now she looks like a horse at the vet.
40. Watering can[‘t]
But did he try to chew his way in or out?
Or somehow both?
41. Just wanted snuggles
This puppy just wanted to get up on the couch to say hello to his owner. He learned a good lesson that day: “Never use a pillow as an anchor” and “Never expect help from humans when getting on the couch, even if they are watching”
https://www.instagram.com/p/CGDUiVYJMTn/
42. Needs some work
As the saying goes, “Practice Makes Perfect”. Sometimes practicing tricks and catches just doesn’t go as planned. Poor pup isn’t cut out for this sort of work.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CHwXinepCNh/
43. Just a bit hungry
Sometimes the advertisement looks so good we just can’t help ourselves. This poor pup couldn’t even tell the difference! That’s good marketing.
44. Meeting new friends
When this dog was introduced to the new cat of the house, the reaction wasn’t as expected. Usually dogs chase cats. Not this time around!
45. Just too excited to see you
This is HILARIOUS! There is a bit of a surprise at the end but we wanted to say that no dogs were blown up in the making of this video. It just adds a dramatic effect.
46. Slip and Slide
Dogs don’t really understand boundaries… or fast-moving objects. That’s what makes road and slip and slides so dangerous for them. He just wanted to say hello…
47. A bit too long
“Uhhh, excuse me” is what you can basically hear as this dog walks around. His collection of sticks has one thing in common – they are all too short!
Excuse me hoomans
by inaww
48. Fitting in perfectly
It’s one thing to make friends with the baby in the house – it’s another to become their stepping stool! This dog is one bad move away from making this a fail!
49. Too good to be true
This is the story behind this cute video:
My dog’s first day home after living in a shelter for over 3 years. He’s worried if he falls asleep, it will all go away.

50. Self-made sled
Using a trashcan lid as a sled was pinnacle quality when I was a kid. This dog just reinvented the whole thing, though! This is one “fail” turned useful trick!
Despite our precious pups doing their best to make us happy, they sometimes mess up. Even though it can be messy, ridiculous, or even problematic, it kind of adds to their goofiness. We can’t help but love their naive innocence and attempts to show us love. They really are the best pets in the world!
