Having a baby is one of the most exciting times of your life, it can also be very nerve-racking. With all the things that can potentially go wrong, ever parent fears getting unsettling news. When this mother realized her baby was breech, she’s called in a doctor who skillfully moves the baby while he’s still in her belly.

When this couple realized their baby was breech, this doctor incredibly rolls the baby in her belly.
When Nick and Vanessa Fisher, found out their baby was breech, they tried all the home remedies they could find online but none of them were working. They tried tricking the baby with music and even lying upside down on an ironing board.

“We would put headphones in my pockets and try to get the baby to get curious and listen down at the bottom. We would get out the ironing board and I would lay on the ironing board upside down but none of those things worked, he stayed put. I felt a little bit of pain, but it happened very quickly. I was very surprised how easily it happened, and I was so relieved because as soon as he was finished he checked the baby’s heart rate and everything was fine.” Vanessa told Inside Edition.
That’s when Vanessa called her mid-wife and was told she should call Dr. Fredrick Cumming.

Dr. Cumming came to asses the situation to see if he could get the little guy to turn. Nick had his camera rolling while the OB/GYN rolled his hand around in a circular motion. You can actually see the baby start to move, it hugs the side of Vanessa’s belly as the baby flips.
Breech babies happen when a baby doesn’t turn head first to be born, they risk being born feet first which can close off their oxygen way and stop them from breathing.

The couple decided to share the video.
Nick and Vanessa, had no idea how many people would relate to the video. Over 6 million people have viewed the stunning video and over 42k have liked the clever procedure.

“I didn’t ever imagine 3 milion people would watch it, but it’s good we did because it served it’s purpose and happy to help.” Said Vanessa.
Their healthy baby boy, Ashton Nathaniel Fisher, was born at home with zero complications.
Thanks to Dr. Cummings, Vanessa didn’t have to go through an emergency c-section.

Life is complex, having babies is even more so. Proper medical care is important such as this case in detecting a breech baby and finding a solution for both baby and mother.
