Thereโ€™s lots of things our military members are forced to miss out on while stationed overseas. From holidays to the births of their children, to even the simple comforts of home.

Amber Holt was deployed when a special event rolled around, her birthday. Fortunately, the AFCENT Band decided to give her a surprise performance to help brighten the day.

Men and women in the military are strong, brave, and there are some who are quite musically talented too.

The U.S. Air Forces Central Command Band is made up of individuals such as these. On their website it says that the group is:

โ€œโ€ฆthe first permanently assigned Air Force Band to the Central Command Area of Responsibility. Based in Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, the band is comprised of deployed Airmen from active duty, Reserve and Air National Guard bands.โ€

โ€œThese dynamic musicians perform and tour in small ensembles throughout the AOR to positively promote troop morale, diplomacy and outreach to host nation communities. The USAFCENT Band rotates several ensembles through the AOR that perform a wide variety of musical styles to appeal to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.โ€

Amber Holt was in for a birthday surprise that she wouldnโ€™t forget.

Not all of us get to see our favorite music artists in concert. Itโ€™s unfortunate because getting to experience live music really is out of this world.

Since Amber was thousands of miles away from superstar Adele โ€“ she was gifted the next best thing, a rendition of โ€œRolling in the Deepโ€ from the AFCENT Band.

Itโ€™s an amazing cover thatโ€™s so good itโ€™s been viewed more than 2.4 million times.

A female vocalist is standing in front of the other airmen, all of which are dressed in uniform. Some have instruments that they play during the performance.

When the woman unleashes her voice itโ€™s powerful enough to send goosebumps across the room.

โ€œRolling in the Deepโ€ isnโ€™t necessarily an easy song to cover. However, the talented singer belts out the lyrics with such ease, beautifully hitting even the difficult notes.

She sings:

โ€œWe could have had it all โ€“ rolling in the deepโ€ฆ You had my heart inside of your hand, and you played it to the beat.โ€

Some of the other band members act as background singers, turning into a mini-concert overseas. Besides the Adele hit, they also covered Jay-Z and Alicia Keyโ€™s โ€œEmpire State of Mind,โ€ and also the Journey classic, โ€œDonโ€™t Stop Believin.โ€

Even for a short period of time, the ensemble was able to help boost the moods of their fellow airmen. They also helped make a birthday girlโ€™s day a little sweeter โ€“ despite being so far from home.
