With the recent spike of interest in shows like Netflix’s reboot of “Queer Eye”, the general public has once again grown to love makeover stories. Thousands of viewers indulge in watching someone reach their beauty potential with a little help from an expert in their field of how to to look better.
Seeing someone who lacked self-confidence and needed a bit of guidance to become as beautiful as they can be just warms the cockles of your soul.
But besides Johnathan Van Ness, grooming guru of Queer Eye, there are other notable experts in the art of rebooting people’s looks.
Christopher Hopkins has long been a master of makeovers. In fact, he’s somewhat of a jack of all trades, as his website describes:

Wow Chris, that’s a lot on your plate. However, it only takes a quick look through any of your makeover videos to see that your ability to breathe new life into somebody’s look is a spectacular talent of yours.
It’s also quite clear though, that Chris loves bringing new light into people’s lives.
His book “Staging Your Comeback, A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45” focuses on just that. Referencing his successful entertainment career as a baritone singer, the book centers around the element of transformation, and revolutionizing someone’s whole look.
The changes can be dramatic.
It’s amazing what a little time with an expert you can do. He turns bangs to brilliance, rash to radiance and gloom to glow.
One such absolutely remarkable makeover is that of Deb, who goes from retired to reborn.
“I need a change, I want a change” She says as she speaks pre-makeover. While Deb is by no means in need of being made to look better, what she really wants is a style boost.
