The Story of Allyson
Allison sat across from her health care provider, anticipating that she was about to experience one of the happiest days of her life.

Most would agree that if they were going to be subjected to a voice that sounded like “Donald Duck,” that they would soon begin to grumble.
For Allison, this was good news because it meant that she would be able to hear.

Thanks to modern technology, it means that a device known as a cochlear implant can be surgically inserted into the ear to help restore hearing with some people.
The normal hearing process is replaced with electric signals. This is why people like Allison with have days of adjustment to their new way of hearing.

While Allison’s story is heart warming, it is only one of many where cochlear implants have transformed lives.
One man, eighty years of age, returned to work after having to leave his fifteen-year career because of hearing loss. There is a new device expected to hit the market in the United States shortly. It is claimed to have the ability to recognize sign language and understand it then interpret it. This is a product being introduced by Motion Savvy.
