Itโs always a joy to see and watch the reaction of any grandparent when their son or daughter announces theyโre going to have a baby or when their new grandchild is born. It doesnโt matter if itโs the first grandchild ever or the tenth, it will always be the same reaction.

Papa Jim has always been the only male in his family, apart from his own dad. He has two sisters in his family. When he got married, he and his wife had four daughters. And when they got married, they gave him two granddaughters.
Boy, was he in for a surprise!
Itโs the morning of his 49th birthday. His daughter has just given birth and he was at the hospital to meet his third granddaughter. Papa Jim was happy, of course, to have another granddaughter.
When he entered the hospital room, his family was already there and he walked right up to his daughter to greet his new grandchild. He notice the babyโs dark hair, asked his daughter about it, and asked nothing else.
With his new grandchild in his daughterโs arms, he just stared at him and watched him sleep.
Wanting to reveal the surprise, his daughter removed the cloth that covered his chest. But when his daughter removed the cloth, Papa Jim still didnโt notice! He noticed the babyโs long fingers, instead. โMore long fingers again, huh?โ
His daughter waited for him to notice the babyโs onesie.
And everyone in the room was silent, waiting for his reaction when he finally discovers the surprise. His other daughter, who was filming the entire video, went even closer to get a better shot of his reaction.
Papa Jim reached out to touch his grandchildโs hand and still didnโt notice the message on the onesie! His daughter had to move her babyโs hands so Papa Jim could see something was written there.
Finally, Papa Jim noticed a message written on the onesie and lifted his grandchildโs hand so he could read it. โFyi,โ he started.
He read the rest of the message and was speechless.
โNo way,โ he replied.
His daughter kept nodding and said his new grandchildโs name was Lander James. He finally smiled and exclaimed, โYou brats!โ He smiled and shook hands with his son-in-law. And he was just His eyes began to get wet and tears fell out as he stared at his grandson.
His wife said his daughter kept the gender from him for a long time. Papa Jim still couldnโt believe it!
โYou might want to check,โ he said. His son-in-law said they could take off the onesie.
Papa Jim just kept saying โWowโ again and again.
