When we think about country music and square dancing, many people tend to automatically think it’s boring. Anyone who watches this show will instantly change their minds on how they view the genre.
At the beginning of the video, you can see a group of cowboys lined up with one cowboy spinning his hat on his finger like a basketball before flipping it back onto his head. As soon as the routine starts, they begin kicking jumping, stomping and spinning their ways, right into viewers’ hearts.

This isn’t any normal square dancing show, the cowboys and cowgirl show off their athleticism every step of the way. Over 3 minutes into the performance, all of the dancers jump as high as they can land in the full-splits like some sort of gymnasts.
The two cowgirls watch as the cowboys land in the splits, looking on as they stand straight up. Once they hop back to their feet the video goes into another quick-footed routine with the crowd clapping on in the back round.

It’s like ’90s breakdancing meets western square dancing, each dancer turns it up a notch in the solo segment. I’ve never seen anyone move their feet so fast, you can hardly see their legs as they rapidly kick their heavy cowboy boots. For the grand finale, each dancer does an outstanding freestyle in the middle of the circle.
The cowboy who jumps into the circle at 7:07 is ridiculous, he looks like a cartoon the way he swiftly kicks his legs. People on YouTube couldn’t get enough of the epic western dance routine, millions of viewers watched the video in awe.
