We love watching people dance.
Perhaps it’s the way they move their bodies to the beat of the music or do amazing moves while being in sync with each other. We can almost thank the 80’s for bringing us this iconic music that we can all dance to.
The ’80s was the era where music and dance was not just something we do to pass the time, but it became a national obsession.
Music videos took over people’s screen and Smash Hits Magazine was found in every teenager’s bedroom!
Don’t forget that the 80’s produced, famous musicians. To name a few of them were Madonna, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Prince, and Whitney Houston.
Their music was well-loved by the people all over the world that it has passed on from generation to generation. Some of them even copied their dance moves to honor them.
With this, we see some people celebrating their music by performing in front of a crowd.
This Club Mob was surely one of those people.
Club Mob is a group of highly trained dancers that performs at different events such as weddings, proposals, birthdays, and flash mobs. They have over 221,000 subscribers on YouTube and over 6.8 Million views on their flash mob video.
The group decided to celebrate the ‘80s by doing a flash mob in the UK-and the results were amazing!
Shoppers in Worthing Town Center, UK were amazed when a group of dancers performed 3 ‘80s surprise dance performances.
Wearing Pep & Co’s and playing famous ‘80s music, they took shoppers back in the ‘80s with their lively performance.
Based on the video shared on their YouTube channel, the performance begins with a girl on a blue sweatshirt dancing to Irene Cara’s “What a Feeling”.
At first, the crowd was confused as she began dancing around the people passing by. But, soon they got hold of what’s happening.
A toddler even joined in on the sides as the father clapped his hands to the beat of the music.
Since it was the weekend, a lot of shoppers came by to buy for their needs. Seeing a group of people performing sure did relaxed and entertained the shoppers. Eventually, the woman was joined by another woman, and the song changed to “I’m so Excited.”
We have to give them a clap for their amazing choreography and playlist!
The third song was “Vogue” by Madonna where they matched their moves to the lyrics of the song! You’ll laugh at how they pushed and pulled on the guy before moving in a synchronized dance moves.
By the time they were on the fourth song, a crowd was gathered around them. It was also the perfect time to let loose a new song-“Footloose”. It rhymed, didn’t it?
More than that, it got everyone dancing to the beat of the song! The crowd cheered when they performed “Walking on the Sunshine”. Some of them even screamed and clapped their joy!
The group, of course, saved the best for last with the song “Black or White”.
The video gained more than 6.8 million views on YouTube.
One thing you can also notice is that the video was a compilation of three different flash mobs. But one thing you can clearly notice was the pleased and entertained crowd.
