Reddit user radamshome recently renovated his daughter’s bedroom into truly magical living quarters. Although he works in the video game industry as an artist, he also has carpentry talents. So after investing in a few welding instructional courses, he began to build his daughter’s dream bedroom.

Tree House Fantasy Bedroom

Radamshome’s DIY renovation project took 18 months to complete, including 350 hours of work, but it was well worth it. The results were amazing.

He built an awe-inspiring tree house in his daughter’s room that allows her to read inside the tree or climb up to the top and hang out there.

As a digital article for work, radamshome created a dozen sketches to get the tree house just right. “Most of the earlier drawings looked too scary, and the last thing I wanted was for it to give her nightmares!” he wrote on Imgur.com. But he finally reached the perfect design.

An important step in the building process was to ensure everything was fire-safe. So, he consulted with a private fire protection engineer, as well as a residential fire prevention specialist (who worked for the city’s fire department).

Finally, radamshome added some Christmas lights, tree decorations, colorful walls, and fairy décor to create a fantasy wonderland in his daughter’s bedroom. For a complete rundown on how he did it, check out Imgur.com.
