Social media can be toxic at times but let’s admit it, it also brings comfort and uplifts our mood oftentimes. No wonder why there are days where we couldn’t take our eyes off of the screen of our phones or computer.
There are stories that just hit us through our hearts.
Now that we’re in the middle of an uncertain battle, it’s acceptable to say that these heartwarming stories are what we need right now. It doesn’t have to be serious all the time, though. Some are just simple yet can definitely give us a good laugh.
If you think you’ve already forgotten how to genuinely laugh out loud, you’ll need to watch this video that we’re about to discuss. And if you have a cool dad, you can surely relate to this.
Let me give you a warning though, you might need a tissue as this might make you cry due to intense laughter.
Delaney just wanted to film a video that she would send to her teachers from her online class. According to her mother, Delaney just loves to brighten up her teachers’ day by sending them clips where she talks about random things. She is such a sweet kid!
“I was checking Delaney’s seesaw (app for school) and she often will send her teachers random videos wishing them well, or goodnight, or just talking to talk.”
In the video, the little girl was crafting, and at the same time, she was explaining the procedures to her ‘viewers’.
But apart from Delaney’s cuteness, you’ll notice someone behind her.
It’s her dad who suddenly appeared and started dancing adorably!
He was doing hilarious dance steps to the Kidz Bop Kids version of Bruno Mars’ groovy song Uptown Funk.
It’s just too precious and can surely make anyone laugh. However Delaney, who was busy at that moment, did not notice him immediately.
He was all out with his dance like he was having a grand performance! You do you, cool dad!
He even gave the camera a flying kiss! Little did he know that his amusing show would go viral on Facebook. It was after his wife Jennifer Jones posted the video.
“Well…. I found this as a sent video from earlier today. I hope her teacher laughed as hard as I did…. How’s your distance learning going,” she wrote.
Mom also gave an update about the dad, who has gone famous since the clip was posted online.
“*update* Daddy thought she was just making a “tutorial” like she typically does. He didn’t know she uploaded it to seesaw and sent it to her 1st grade teacher!”
So yeah, the father did not expect that his wholesome performance in the middle of his child’s craft tutorial would be seen by millions of people. He is now an online star alongside his daughter.
Another precious thing about this video is it shows how beautiful their family is.
Delaney’s sibling also appeared in the video while she was having “peace and quiet” time doing some art. Clearly, all that we will see in this new viral video are purely positive things.
She even introduced her little brother and they were apparently making her laugh. And this family’s contagious smiles and energy are so fun to watch.
Good thing Delaney decided to turn on her camera at that time, as she was able to film such a priceless moment.
