There’s a very special bond that exists between every good dad and his daughter, and this video might be the best example of that bond you’ll see all year.
A young girl named Kyleigh Bermudez filmed herself dancing along to a song on TV. She wasn’t expecting her dad to join in on the fun, and papa had no idea he was being filmed at the time. The resulting clip is hilarious, endearing, and simply unmissable!
The video begins with Kyleigh introducing herself and setting up the TV to play Katy Perry’s classic track, Part Of Me.
Kyleigh loses track of the remote for the TV for a moment, but quickly finds it and loads up the song.
She strikes a pose, getting ready to start her dance routine, right as her dad steps in through the door, with a beer in his hand and a bright yellow T-shirt.
The sweet girl kicks off her dancing, spinning around and gliding across the living room as her dad watches on from the background.
But then dad decides he wants to get in on the action too.
Maybe it was Perry’s catchy beat or maybe it was just the sight of his daughter having a good time. Either way, papa bear starts busting out some of his own moves, trying to match his daughter’s rhythm and keeping his can in his hand as Kyleigh giggles beside him.
It’s an adorable moment and it becomes particularly hilarious when dad sets down his beer and really gets into it!
At first, the dad seemed to try and copy a few of his Kyleigh’s moves, but when the beer goes down, he simply goes wild, waving his arms in the air, spinning around, and so much more. We can safely say that dancing runs in the family!
The best part of all is that the dad has no idea he’s being filmed, so he doesn’t worry at all about how people might see him. It’s a pure, natural, family moment, captured on camera and shared for all of us to enjoy.
To finish off the routine, Kyleigh gets her dad’s attention and makes him follow her lead to pull off one final move. He does a great job and sets off in style, grabbing his beer once more and leaving the room.
Little Kyleigh then finishes off her own dancing and ends the recording, which was later uploaded to YouTube by her mom, Melissa.
So far, the clip has been seen by more than a million people.
