When Dan and Mike adopted baby Emily Ruth, they never would have imagined she’d be such a happy baby
In April of 2014, they got the call they had been waiting for, a baby girl was born and waiting for them to adopt her. So they went and picked Emily Ruth up from the hospital and brought her home.
At the time of this video, Emily Ruth was only 5-months-old and the light of her fathers’ lives.’ Being such a happy baby, Dan and Mike decided to film her waking up one day and it’s the cutest thing ever!
They walk into “Princess Emily’s” room with their video camera rolling, she’s waking up and smiling as she does
When they walk into the room you can see her massive pink and white crib and hear one of them talking in the back round.
“Here’s the world’s happiest baby, good morning princess, good morning sunshine,” her father says as he walks into the room.
Not only does she have a huge smile on her face, but Emily Ruth is also stretching in the most relaxed way possible
She has both her hands behind her head with her elbows out and laying flat on her back. Emily Ruth flashes big smiles as soon as she hears her daddy’s voice, but never breaks her stretching position. On her father’s YouTube page where the video was posted, they explain how the joyful baby is always like this.
“Five-month-old Princess Emily Ruth is the ultimate happy baby. Always laughing and giggling, this morning we decided to video her waking up. She wakes up with a smile, goes all day with a smile, and falls asleep with a smile.” Reads the beginning of the caption.
At one point, her father zooms in and she hysterically opens her eyes widely, awe-struck by the phone he’s holding in his hand
I’ve never seen a prettier baby, she has big beautiful eyes to match her lovable smile and long eyelashes that are visible every time she blinks. Even when she opens her eyes widely in surprise, she still has a little smirk on her face.
This isn’t the only charming video of the sweet little girl, Dan and Mike created a YouTube channel where they upload clips of Emily Ruth doing cute things. In the latest one, she sits in her car seat lip singing ‘A Million Dream’ from The Greatest Showman soundtrack.
Although all the videos are endearing, none have gone quite as viral as the one of her stretching in her crib.
