Like most brides planning their dream wedding, Andrea assumed it would be her father walking her down the aisle on the big day. Unfortunately though, that dream was shattered when her father suddenly died before her wedding.
Tragically, her father, Mark, died of cancer while she was planning her wedding.
Stricken by grief, Andrea knew that no matter how wonderfully her wedding went, it would never be perfect without her father being there.
But luckily for Andrea, all of the other men in her life stepped up and went above and beyond on her special day.
When it came time for the father-daughter dance, Andrea’s brother grabbed the microphone and surprised his sister with a performance she’ll never forget.
You’ll find yourself fighting back tears with the rest of the wedding attendees as you listen to the brother’s heartfelt recap of what the family had been going through. It’s clear just how important their beloved father was, and it’s clear that he’s terribly missed by everyone in attendance.
So, to commemorate his sister’s big day, Andrea’s brother recorded his own rendition of “Butterfly Kisses,” a special song between the bride and her father.
His moving performance honored their late father while celebrating his sister’s new union. The whole wedding party was brought to tears.
The moving performance wasn’t the only thing to surprise Andrea.
As her brother played the tribute song, Andrea’s grandfather and other brothers went up to her one by one to share in a very special first dance.
There’s not a dry eye in the house as all of the men in Andrea’s life step in to comfort her through what would have otherwise have been an upsetting moment in the night.
While her father clearly can never be replaced, the bride is lucky to have so many supportive, caring men in her life who are willing to go above and beyond to create the near-perfect moment for her on the biggest day of her life.
There’s no doubt in our minds that Andrea’s father was smiling down at the wedding, especially during this moving moment.
While the special bond between father and daughter can never be replaced, Andrea’s brothers and grandfather prove that there is a special of a bond between brothers and sisters and grandfathers and granddaughters.
