This daddy-daughter dance duo are something else!
While some teenage daughters might be embarrassed by their dadโs dance moves, this crazy high school senior actually gave her dad, Keith Tiz, a chance to show off some of his moves in front of the whole class.
He even went on to post the video of their performance on his YouTube channel for the whole world to see! Since it was uploaded in June of last year, the video has managed to rack up over 1.3 million views.
Itโs so amazing that Keith and his daughter have such a great relationship.
It turns out, their performance was part of the schoolโs Senior Year celebration event. Itโs something they put on every year for graduating seniors, and the Tizโs took the opportunity to show off their talent.
They essentially challenged each other to a dance-off on stage and itโs pretty hilarious to watch.
They are both quite talented.
While Dad busted out the old school moves, his daughter went with a more modern approach.
Weโre not sure if there is even actually a name for the style of dance she did, but weโve certainly seen people bust out similar moves in some of the hip-hop and reggaeton music videos that have been released in the last few years.
Keithโs dance, on the other hand, is pretty easy to describe. He does a classic breakdancing routine.
โYouโre already going to college and youโve put in a lot of hard work, but I want to remind you, donโt forget to have fun. You know what Iโm going to do? Iโm going to show you how to get down,โ Keith says to his daughter at the start of the video.
The music begins and instantly Keith starts breaking it down.
Before you know it, he is even on the floor spinning around. He might be getting older, but he definitely hasnโt forgotten how to dance! Itโs a very awesome college send off.
Weโre willing to bet a lot of people watching the performance probably wish their dads were as cool as Keith.
Next, itโs his daughterโs turn.
โDad, thatโs old. Let me show you how we get down,โ she says.
What happens next is pretty funky.
Really, itโs quite hard to put into words. Youโll probably just have to watch the video for yourself to see what we mean. Itโs definitely safe to say that both dad and daughter got moves though!
After a couple of rounds of them competing back and forth, for the finale, they decide to both come together and do a very cute daddy-daughter dance.
As expected, itโs smooth as can be and the audience is obviously loving it. You can hear them in the background cheering the duo on.
The performance ends to a song everyone knows and can appreciate โ โCelebrationโ by Kool & The Gang.
It was the perfect way to finish the dance off.
