A wedding isn’t just an important event for newlyweds but also to their family and friends. This is why they set aside time just to witness their union and celebrate their love and future life together.
Because of that, couple Kyle and Nicole felt the need to do something extra special for their guests on their wedding day. And to make sure they got everything right, they spent days and weeks practicing their surprise dance routine.
Nicole isn’t new to dancing in front of other people. In fact, she was on the poms team when she was in high school. Also, she’d often have father-daughter dances so you’d know she’s got the moves.
Her husband, on the other hand, was the total opposite. He dreaded performing in public, let alone do a whole dance routine in front of his friends and relatives. However, because of his love for his wife, he put his game-face on and agreed to do the dance.
The guests didn’t have any idea about the dance. So when the couple was called to the center stage, everyone looked excited. They stood up and started clapping enthusiastically.
Nobody — not even Kyle’s family — knew about this dance except for my parents. -Nicole said.
They were so ready to hit the dance floor
Nicole was super ready to hit the stage. In fact, as she was making her way to the center of the venue, you could see her body starting to move to the beat. Kyle, despite looking a bit nervous, managed to show the same energy as his wife.
The couple danced to MKTO’s Classic which was the perfect song that day. It set the right mood and it has the right beat for everyone present on the wedding day.
Nicole wore a really beautiful white dress for the dance. Surprisingly, however, she skipped the high heels and chose not to wear any footwear for the dance. Kyle, on the other hand, chose to stick with something comfortable and wore a pair of snickers. Seriously, the couple looked so cute!
Nicole and Kyle showed some really nice moves. You wouldn’t see any hint of nervousness in their performance, not even in Kyle. They were just grooving and having a really good time. They owned the stage like they owned their wedding day.
Dad’s got the moves, too!
In the middle of the performance, Nicole’s dad pretended to interrupt Kyle to get a chance to dance with his daughter. And unlike most father-daughter dances during weddings, their version was rather unique. It wasn’t full of tears and there was no mellow song in the background.
Instead, Dad danced to the upbeat music, too. And just like his daughter, he danced really well. His every move was perfectly timed. You could see very well how hard he’s worked for that number.
After his cameo, dad called in Kyle again to finish the whole routine and he went back to his table to continue cheering for his daughter and new son-in-law.
The couple was able to pull off a surprise their guests wouldn’t be able to forget soon. And just like them, you wouldn’t be able to easily get over the couple’s awesome dance moves after watching the video below.
