Identical twins are known for having a strong bond and more often than not are inseparable. It’s that “twin connection” that us non-twin folk will never understand. But while they’re viewed as being thick as thieves, it doesn’t mean they can’t have a little tiff sometimes!
The two babies in the video below know just what it’s like to “fight” with their twin. In their case, it’s over a purple pacifier.
When you think of twins, usually you think “two of everything.” Two cribs, two car seats, two strollers – but for these babies, they both want the same pacifier.
The sisters are hanging out on the carpet, looking as adorable as can be. One of the girls has the pacifier in her mouth and her twin is looking at her perhaps thinking – “Hey… Why should you get to have the binky?”
But it’s not like she can just “ask” for it. So, she reaches out and simply snatches it for herself instead. That’s the baby way!
Babies love their bottles, their blankies, and their pacifiers.
So it’s understandable that the little peanut in the video gets upset having her binky stolen. She tries to grab it back and cries when she can’t get it.
But of course, two can play at this game. Eventually, she’s able to take it from her sister’s mouth to make things whole again. She puts it back in hers, and life is good… at least for the moment.
This is a game that’s just getting started.
The twin on the right can’t hold back tears being pacifier-less and watching her sister enjoy the purple binky. So naturally, she decides to try and get it back! Sibling fight!
A few attempts later, she is finally able to grab it back from the twin on the left. Here comes more tears…
Babies love the comfort pacifiers bring. According to the Happiest Baby website, “sucking” can lower their stress levels, blood pressure, and heart rate.
It’s no wonder why these little ladies really wanted one! And if there was just a sole purple binky around – perhaps that’s what drove them into “fighting” over it. Question is… Why’s there only one pacifier?
The baby on the left decides to go for it once again and steal the pacifier from her sister. Once she does, she’s instantly soothed with it in her mouth.
Like clockwork, the baby on the right starts to cry, but her tears aren’t enough for her sister to fork over the binky! Then when she tries to get it back, her twin turns her head. She’s a fast learner!
It ends with the baby on the left still sucking on the pacifier. Poor twin! The internet is full of all kinds of adorable baby videos, but this is one that spread like wildfire. To date, the video has 452,422,502 views. Beat that!
