Moving into a new house is usually pretty exciting! It’s a new place, new people, and you feel like there is a fresh feel to even the essence of life! It’s easy to forget, however, that there are lots of stories that happened in that house before you moved in – some of them not so great.
Like this homeowner who went up into their attic and found this creepy stroller.
Let’s look at some interesting (and creepy) discoveries that homeowners found after moving into their “new” houses!
1. “I’m under the bed”
After seeing this, you BETTER believe that the LAST place I’m going to be looking is under the bed. In fact, I’m probably moving.
2. Secret room under the stairs
Well, if bootlegging was ever a hobby you wanted to pick up, these stairs are a great place to start hiding the ‘shine. Or maybe just a really cool movie room? Up to you.
3. Basement of NOPE
Finding cool stuff in a basement or attic is totally fine. Finding a creepy doll with mangled teeth? Not fine at all.
4. Strange attic room
Although there isn’t anything technically wrong with this room, it’s clear nothing good ever happened. The vibes are WAY too off for this to have been a happy place for anyone.
5. It’s a bunker… hopefully
See, this could look like a septic tank or a meat smoker to anyone, but it’s probably where heinous things happened. Well, it could have been an emergency bunker, but come on, we aren’t naive, right?
6. Oh no no no no
I’m going to let this quote do the talking:
“Found out the house we are living in has a bunker below. I managed to squeeze my phone in one of the cracks of the door to take this creepy picture.”
7. Follow the breeze
This woman felt air coming from behind her NYC mirror and decide to take it off. There was literally a ROOM behind it!
8. Another scary doll
I don’t know who makes money off selling dolls like this, but it seems to be business is booming. Like, honestly, why? No need for this at all.
9. Tech hidden under paint
This looks like it’s just an RFID chip, but it’s nonetheless creepy to think that there is tech that can be hidden under paint it’s so thin. Imagine if it had a microphone on it!
10. Creepy bathroom decoration
Who knows why a person would want this in their bathroom. Maybe they want to give their heart the occasional test! Regardless, it’s creepy.
11. 37 clowns
After moving into a new apartment, they found a few clowns hidden around the property. Well, 37 clowns, to be exact. Either it was a great prank, or someone is NOT ok.
12. Foreclosed home
When this contractor went to renovate a foreclosed-on home, he stumbled on this. Ok, now that’s a pretty funny prank, you can’t lie about it.
13. Secret Dungeon
I don’t know how there is this much space in an apartment, but this extra room looks like it has a LOT of potential. A little lighting and some carpet? Boom.
14. Watch your butt
Razor blades don’t seem to be a common decoration practice, but this person clearly thought differently. I don’t think I align with their design practice.
15. Toilet camera
Toilets don’t usually have cameras on them, but this one is just for research purposes. This HAD to be a frat house before they bought this home – it’s too much of a frat joke to not be.
16. Spare teeth
Well, these teeth came from somewhere. Let’s just hope it was some really attached mom who kept her kid’s teeth? Probably not…
17. Old X-rays
This, along with some other photos, was found in an old box left in a home. I don’t even know what’s going on, to be honest.
18. Dead wife
While we can hope this wife died of natural causes, something tells me that this strange tombstone means otherwise. Or, maybe it’s just a stepping stone with her name on it?
19. Knife room
If you’ve ever wanted your very own knife room, it may be worth it to find an abandoned home to live in. They usually come with a complimentary one.
20. Dad’s two teeth

Did he happen to lose them in Tiananmen Square or is that just a regular old tank behind him, too?
21. Oh, ok…
At first, you are like “girl with magazines” and then you are like “wait, those photos are weird” and then you are like “oh my God what is that?!”. It’s a fun progression.
22. Gun room
Well, we already saw a knife room, how about a gun room?

23. Hanging out
These people just bought this house and this was the first thing they saw in the closet above the stairs. This was totally a disturbed youth.
24. One FAT spider
I don’t know if this spider was alive or dead when they opened whatever cabinet it was stuck in, but it probably caused them to have a heart attack. Guess who is NEVER opening a cabinet ever again?
25. Dungeon AirBnb
See, you can see this as a creepy dungeon that you found in the back of your house, or you can view it as an investment. People will pay top dollar for a 3-night stay in a dungeon nowadays!
26. Forbidden olive oil
Yes, I know it literally says “poison” on it. That still doesn’t make me not want to give it just a tiny taste.
27. Sealed up tight

It really makes you wonder, doesn’t it? It’s probably just a wall behind it but would take 3 hours to get off.
28. Sadly, I did see him
See, this is one of those things you THINK you want to see, then you see it and wish you didn’t. Almost like the 2016 remake of Ben Hur.
29. Ya, don’t open that
Do I want to know what’s in those bags that someone buried in the ground, hoping nobody would open? Honestly, no, I value my sleep tonight more than that knowledge.
30. Cool, but creepy
See, this crawlspace CLEARLY was built because of someone’s insanity, but they also left money, ingots, and jewelry in it. Sort of cool, sort of creepy.
Oh ya, they also wrote SAVE YOURSELF on everything.
31. Intentionally blocked
We don’t know if this was done to keep people from going in or to keep people from coming out. Neither brings pleasant thoughts to mind.

This is some 20-year-old tea here. Did he find anything? Was she cheating? Who was her lover? We may never know.
33. Please open it

Pretty much anything short of a body being in here makes it worth it.
34. Does everyone have one of these?
This is like the fifth hidden room on this list. I mean, why can’t I have a cool hidden room in my house? I feel left out.
35. Buried babies
Well, not actual babies. They are just carved stone statues but it is still pretty creepy. I wonder what it was supposed to represent?
36. A secret admirer
Looks like the previous tenants added a few of their own “upgrades”, including a two-way mirror with a hidden camera. Definitely a creep and now you have to sweep the whole house.
That should be PLENTY of creepy for today. Hopefully, you don’t feel the need to search your entire house for cameras, dolls, or secret doors. If you end up doing so, be prepared for if you actually DO find something!
