The Urban Dance Camp is home to incredible talents from around the world: dancers, teachers, and choreographers. It’s known as the world’s leading dance intensive education. From a simple annual international workshop event, The Urban Dance Camp has since earned itself the reputation of being the best dance education program with the highest standard of teaching. It presents dance enthusiasts the opportunity to showcase their dance skills to a choreography-oriented audience, take inspiration from others’ choreographies, and meet new international partners. Every year, The Urban Dance Camp presents an incredible lineup consisting of YouTube stars, dance legends, and top international choreographers from Asia, Europe, and America.
The official YouTube channel will allow you a glimpse of just how talented, persistent, and hardworking the participating dancers are.
The dance videos are far from predictable, too. Whether solo or in pairs, each routine is done with such creativity that others are inspired to pursue their own dreams of becoming exceptional choreographers themselves.
Different music genres are used as audio backdrops, too. Just like this take on Anna Kendrick’s “Cups (When I’m Gone)” from the film “Pitch Perfect“.
Choreographers Keone and Mariel Madrid, along with dancers Fabio Carcieri, Kalila Hermant, Orlando Jehle, and Baiba Klints showed off sharp, storytelling moves to the song, creating a unique and playful dance video that had YouTube users commenting on how amazing it all was.
Keone and Mariel didn’t look like they were performing a choreographed dance routine.
They simply looked like they were having fun with the song and going along with the lyrics.
This couple clearly has strong chemistry on the dance floor, too.
In telling the song’s story with their moves, the two even had different facial expressions and non-verbal gestures to match, making it quite an entertaining watch.
You can even catch the little smiles every now and then when they take each other’s hand or pull off impressive moves.
If you loved the couples dance moves, you’ll appreciate the next two pairs, too.
Casually in position as they waited for the same song to start playing, the two pairs on the dance floor had some pretty incredible moves of their own.
And just like Keone and Mariel, none of them looked like they were concentrating hard on keeping in time with the beat or each other.
It was another fun interpretation to watch. Imagine being able to come up with a routine for a song that consists only of rhythmic tapping and vocals. These three pairs of dancers made it work.
That’s what The Urban Dance Camp promises – intensive learning, and a whole lot of fun. These dance videos are reminders of just how important it is to work hard at what you love, and love what you do no matter how tough or challenging it can get.
Watch this video and who knows? You might just be inspired to get up and create some dance moves of your own, whether for a workout or for simply having fun at home.
