Dancing isn’t just a way to show off one’s talent or to impress others. For some people, it’s an expression of their passion. They dance with their emotions and that enables them to connect with their audience more.
A young couple was about to deliver a stunning performance.
In their audition for Britain’s Got Talent, the world saw not just talent and grace but their love for each other and their passion for dancing, too.
Their performance was their very first audition. And judging by their interview, you could see a hint of nervousness and fear in them. 27-year-old Julio admitted that he was afraid he’d hurt the woman he loves in their performance.
However, as soon as they hit the stage and the music played, all of those things magically disappeared
It’s as if they completely transformed. Even their level of energy changed, too.
The performance started out quite slow and average but it quickly gained momentum that had everyone on the edge of their seats. The couple skillfully and gracefully launched a few sets of acrobatic stunts that left everyone speechless.
Julio has impressive strength and focus. He was able to balance his partner on top of his head while being upside down. A stunt like that definitely requires a lot of practice and trust to execute.
His partner, on the other hand, has impressive confidence, grace, and flexibility. She was so good that she was able to make such complicated and dangerous moves look easy to do.
Their performance was intense and full of passion
Unlike most dance performances and acrobatics, theirs told an incredible story. It’s the type of tale that will really hook you until the end.
The couple chose Loren Allred’s Never Enough and that totally add more drama. Its intensity totally matched the performance.
After their act, the audience was on their feet, clapping their hands, and cheering them on. Even the judges were too happy about their performance and they willingly gave the Cuban couple 4 solid yesses.
You make it look easy and I know it’s probably one of the most difficult things to do. You were so graceful, you did a great job.- Alesha commented.
Simon, on the other hand, thought that the performance was great. He was impressed by the couple’s song choice as well as their chemistry. As a really picky judge, hearing those positive comments from him is rare.
I shudder to think what you get up to behind closed doors. We have seen other acrobatic acts but not in such a romantic setting as the one you just did.- David commented.
They aced their audition showing their talent as it’s truly one of a kind. It’s not always that you get to see such a passionate dance performed that well on stage, let alone deliver stunning acrobats that leave the audience lost for words.
