With all those lifts, spins and flips, we're surprised at how easy they make this look.

When country and swing are combined, it gives way to a truly magical performance.

Donny Robbins and Savannah Polisar certainly know how to put on a show with their gravity-defying performance to Tim McGraw’s “Highway Don’t Care”. The two professional dancers pull off the most impressive country swing moves with grace and ease.

With nearly 30,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, Donny Robbins has been teaching and choreographing country dance routines for over a decade. He’s one third of True Country, named “America’s favorite Country Swing Dancers” on his YouTube channel, along with his partner in this video, Savannah Polisar, and Alina Rotariu.

The video of Donny and Savannah’s dance was actually filmed years ago, way back in 2013, but there’s nothing about the quality that gives this away – and even to this day, their performance is absolutely timeless.

Donny and Savannah’s moves are so intricate and impressive that it’s no wonder the video of their dance has been viewed nearly 1 million times, and still has people commenting asking them when they’ll be making a new one.

Though the pair dance with ease, their moves are incredibly complex – not that you’d know, because they make them look so simple. With so many spins, lifts and flips, it’s amazing enough that Savannah even knows which way is up, let alone masters the routine so perfectly.

Both Savannah and Donny are dressed to suit the atmosphere of their country dancing song, with Savannah in denim shorts, knee-high boots and a cropped white top, and Donny wearing denim jeans and a black shirt.

You’d think that jeans might restrict Donny’s movements, but he’s obviously used to dancing in them, as he pulls off some pretty impressive spins and footwork just fine.

One of the best things about Savannah and Donny’s performance is their big smiles. Even while Donny is supporting Savannah above his head, which must take incredible strength, he continues to smile like he’s loving every moment – and he probably is!

It’s obvious that the couple have practiced relentlessly for their performance, and that they’ve been working together for a very long time. They’re in sync with one another’s moves, and move so fluidly that there’s no doubt that the routine is incredibly familiar to them.

They also have a lot of trust for one another, which only comes from being long-time partners. Savannah fearlessly allows Donny to lift her, flip her and support her weight in a series of gravity-defying moves that most of us would be too nervous to even attempt.

By the end of the dance, there’s no denying that if the couple had a crowd, it would be cheering so hard. Instead, the “crowd” is everyone who commented on YouTube to say how astonishingly good their performance was. One person wrote:

“I am absolutely, 1000% convinced that this dance was designed specifically to make women dizzy ;) I miss dancing like this. Keep up the amazing work!”

She’s got a point – Savannah must make more than 50 spins throughout her entire performance! It’s obviously something she’s grown very used to over the years.

The whole idea of True Country is to teach others the art of country dancing, but we have a feeling it would take months and months of practice to reach Donny and Savannah’s level! You can check out the video of their gravity-defying performance below.
