Everyone has a different perception of โhomeโ. Some people love the big house with collectibles and picture frames while others love finding new places to travel to and call home.
The wanderlust lifestyle has really flourished over the last 20 years.

Renovating an old bus and making it home has become the new โlife goalโ and the youngsters arenโt the only ones who are dreaming this up. People aging from their 20โs to โ60s have found the minimalistic life is the way to go.
Meet Sharon and Bobby Childers! A couple who is changing the game when it comes to retirement.

They had the house and all of the fancy things inside until one day they decided none of that was bringing them joy anymore. Thatโs when they chose to let go of everything materialistic holding them down.
Both Sharon and Bobby had always dreamed of traveling the country, and what better way to do that then in a home on wheels!?

Thatโs when Sharon dove into Craigslist and found a withered 1970 Holiday Rambler listed for $800. Sharon had a strong feeling this trailer was special so they checked out the trailer and took it home for only $400! Now thatโs what you call a bargain.
Of course, the vintage trailer needed a lot of work to bring it back to life, but they were up for the challenge.

The retirees learned about renovating as they went, along with plenty of YouTube โHow Toโ videos. But after plenty of sweat, this dynamic duo ended up creating the traveling home of their dreams.
Now, they have everything they need in the comfort of their 1970 Holiday Rambler.

They thrifted and repurposed all kinds of things from their stove to their front screen door. The final product is truly the cutest cottage youโve ever seen!
People on the road canโt help but fall in love with what The Childerโs call The Pheonix Rambler.

Bobby explained to Tiny Home Tours that the first time they hit the highway people were pulling over and following them into gas stations to check out their vintage teal RV!
โTheyโd say โthank you so much for showing us, it just brought back so many good memoriesโ, from when they were children, and thatโs a great feeling!โ Bobby added
The feedback on the road confirmed that their decision to live life on wheels really was the best decision for them.

They travel East Coast to West Coast enjoying their cottage and the great outdoors visiting family along the way. They also have a YouTube channel called the Nomadic Ramblerโs where they document all of their ventures.
Sharon and Bobby have been at it for the past 5 years and wouldnโt have it any other way.

Thereโs something so fulfilling about the nomad lifestyle, especially when you rebuild an entire trailer to turn it into your tiny home. Now Sharon and Bobby inspire people from all over the world to live life to the fullest.
In this video, Sharon and Bobby give you a grand tour of their hard work and explain just how they made their dreams become reality.

Annie Carrol commented,โWhat a wonderful couple, this is the America I remember growing up. Folks were all ways ready to help, they laughed with you and cried with you.Thank you so much. Blessingsโ
