Sometimes you get exactly what you ask for. Josh Clark told his wife Jessaka on their first date that he wanted 10 kids.

Now the Georgia couple is a family of 10 and may even add another to their roster.

โ€œMy husband Josh and I both knew that we wanted to adopt children. We had decided this before we even met each other,โ€ Jessaka, whose parents adopted her two brothers and fostered between 10 to 12 children at a time while she was growing, told Fox News. โ€œJosh has a heart for the thousands of children that donโ€™t have parents and knew he wanted to bring some of them into his home.โ€

Josh and Jessaka were actually told that they wouldnโ€™t be able to have children. Even though they were surprised by their biological son Noah, they still wanted to adopt to fulfill Joshโ€™s dream of having a big family.

They began their process in January 2015 and were matched with several children.

However, the adoptions always fell through. Thatโ€™s until they were finally paired with the โ€œSuper 7,โ€ a clan of seven brothers and sisters who were trying to stay together.

โ€œMy eyes probably got as big as his and we both said the same thing: โ€˜We need to pray about this,'โ€ she told Alive 11. โ€œWe prayed that night and didnโ€™t sleep well because God told us that these were the kids for us.โ€

The kids went through two failed adoptions and had been in the foster care system for 1,359 days.

โ€œThey started calling us โ€˜momโ€™ and โ€˜dadโ€™ the first time they met us,โ€ Jessaka told CBS News. โ€œI knew they were my kids. I immediately knew I wanted to be their mom. You both kind of have to fall in love with each other.โ€

Not only did she have to love, feed, cloth, and look after eight new children but she also had to teach them to trust a mother figure again.

โ€œFrom their experience, moms leave and moms donโ€™t give you food. You have to basically break that image down and recreate it for them,โ€ she explains.

โ€œYou have to work at earn their trust. The kids are fielding that image in their mind of what a mom looks like and it gets better each day. Hopefully, this will help them to be good parents have good bonds in their relationships when theyโ€™re older as well.โ€

The Clarks are also looking to adopt the Super 7โ€™s infant sister, however, they have t0 get a larger home before the state will allow it.

They set up a GoFundMe account to try and raise money for a new home. You can help them with their goal by making a donation here.
