Many of us have walked out to our cars with a sinking feeling in our stomach as we spot a ticket placed on our windshield. Will your punishment for breaking the rules costs you in the double digits or the triple digits?
Will it jack up your car insurance? How many hours will you have to work just to pay for that ticket?
These are the questions that race through our minds until we reach our car to pick up the ticket to survey the damage. So, you’ll find the following story hilarious if you’ve ever had that experience. Simon Laprise of Montreal is a machinist and woodworker but recently decided to use snow as a medium.
“I am passionate about building and designing stuff,” he told BuzzFeed Canada.
The 33-year-old thought he would play a trick on snow removal crews and crafted a full-sized replica a DeLorean DMC-12 (you know the car from Back to the Future) from snow.
“I did the car to have fun expressing my creativity on that beautiful day,” he said.
Parking on the street in certain areas when it snows is illegal, so the snow car captured the attention of the local police. Some local officers were seen walking up to the car to write a ticket.
But when they tried to the get the license plate and make and model of the car, they found that they could not since the car was made entirely of snow.
They thought it was absolutely hilarious and left him a ticket with a note on it saying “You made our night!!! Hahahahaha :)”
Simon posted photos of his snow car with the caption, “I hope to prank the snow removal guys tonight. Muahahaha.” That post ended up going viral
“I meant to trick the snow removal guys. I was not expecting a ticket/note, much less it going viral,” Simon said.
The photos of the snow car and it being ticketed by police were shared all over the world.

I’m all the way down in Spokane Washington & just seen it on the News I think you know Jokester, lol Rt on!” one Facebook commenter said. “And glad to know you do not get in any trouble for messing with the city. And I love to hear ppl still have a sense of humor. Thanks so much for the laugh, I think we all needed it!!!!!”
