Any excessive noise or disorder is immediately reported to cops because preserving harmony and peace in the neighborhood is an absolute must. This is why when three Carollton Texas police officers received a call complaining about a noisy event in a neighborhood under their watch, they responded promptly to put a stop to the cause of the chaos. But, when they realized that it was a graduation party, the three cops joined the celebration instead!
The way the three cops handled the situation was all caught in the body camera of one of the police officers. In the footage, the cops went to the home being complained about because of their loud partying noise. When they arrived at the place, they quickly found out that the party was to celebrate a young ladyâs graduation.
Upon learning about this, the cops decided to let the party continue since no harm is being done in the fun event.
âI donât want to get in on this party. Theyâre having a good time,â one cop even said.
However, the woman who welcomed them insisted they come in and asked if they wanted to have some food. The cops were then led to the backyard were all the partying and dancing was taking place.
The lady who led them in announced that they were there to join the party. After hearing this, one of the officers grabbed the ladyâs hand and danced with her!
It was such a spontaneous moment and even the police officer with the body camera could not help but dance to the lively music. He even grabbed a dance partner of his own and danced to the beat of the fun song!
The police officers certainly handled the situation very well and even gave the celebration a fun and memorable twist just by being there on that very day. By giving the young woman celebrating her graduation a chance to continue her party, the cops definitely made a good call.
They stayed only for a few minutes but their visit made the event more fun and unforgettable. One police officer even danced on his way out of the backyard, showing everyone that he had fun and enjoyed his short stay in the party.
The hilarious video from the officerâs body camera was later on posted in Carrollton Texas Police Departmentâs YouTube channel with the caption: âWe get âinvitedâ to partiesâ, prompting a lot of great comments on how the officers handled the situation. The cop wearing the body camera was hilariously named as âOfficer âCanât Help Himselfâ Bodycamâ.
They were commended by people online for giving the girl a chance to hold her celebration and making the day even more special. Who gets surprised by police guests in their graduation celebration, right? Thatâs certainly something that does not happen on a regular party!
Luis Diaz, the young womanâs father, responded to the video via a Facebook post to express his gratitude to the cops.
âI am very grateful with these great officers for allowing me to continue with my daughterâs graduation party last Saturday Thank you so much.â
These cops were really generous in letting the party proceed and people online approve on the way they uphold community policing. These kinds of acts certainly make our police force even more reliable in the sense that they know how to have fun and how to let the community have fun as well.
