There is a trend sweeping the nation. A trend that has everyone constantly waiting and anticipating the next series of videos.
It allows the most unexpected group of people to show their hometowns their skills.
And production quality has really gone up. Police departments have started lip sync and dance challenges and once a certain department posts their video, they proceed to challenge a different department, and on and on it goes without an end in sight.

Everybody loves men in uniform.
The Warwick Police department of Warwick, Rhode Island responded to the challenge laid down by the Coventry Police department. These guys are out to show that aside from to serve and protect, they will also entertain and perform. Itโs a great way to show the townsfolk that they arenโt just stiff enforcers of the law.
It starts with a rookie cop being shown the ropes by a veteran set to Bruno Marsโ unforgettable hit, โ24k Magicโ.

The new kid gets caught powdering his face and his colleague is just puzzled.
The new guy says he wants to look good. Well then! The cops proceed to channel their inner Bruno with obvious delight on their faces. No one is spared. Not the captain or those busy at work.
Drop what youโre doing and dance!

Might as well join the fun!
It must have been a really peaceful day if Warwickโs finest were able to have fun and let loose. They head on to the fire department and things get hot outside. The never aging โI want it that wayโ of The Backstreet Boys is the song of choice and they assemble very much like a 90s boyband.

911, whatโs your emergency? Please hold, theyโre not done performing.
Hats, axes, guitars and passion. They lip sync in full force complete with the familiar choreography of the 1990s. Watch out, Coventry! They throw it back too with really cool tunes like Queenโs โUnder pressureโ and Billy Oceanโs โGet out of my dreamsโ.
Warwick PD has exceptional taste in music. Must be a fun place for work.

Warwickโs finest donโt look too bad either.
They even throw in a little humor. Those inmates sure do look oddโฆ Viewers are even treated to a little cop action as they pull over a car and arrest the driver. Why the suspect was singing along is anyoneโs guess.
This must be part of treating suspects with respect and dignity as the rookie cop says.

You have the right to remain singing.
To Akonโs โLocked upโ no less. Tough luck, son. Itโs not your day but at least you always have the right to sing. At least with these guys.
The quality of their performance is top notch even viewers are all praises.
โALRIGHT ALRIGHT!!!!!! NOW THAT IS ONE OF THE BEST LIP-SYNC CHALLENGE VIDEOS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!โ
Warwick has set the bar and the standards are pretty high. These men and women are really creative.

They come out in full force using everything they have for the purpose of entertainment.
And yes, that plane belongs to them and they display it with pride. The video comes to an end and an elder police officer issues the same challenge to the Providence Police department. The pressure is on, Providence!

Check out Warwickโs fun video, theyโre sure to bring a smile to your face!
